Trick was, the tutorials on monsters was bad. Glad you have guides like this.
The tutorial is bad.
That might be a start in getting people to enjoy playing monster.
But I do think they need to make big changes to really make it more fun for the monster.
The fun part is not chasing unarmed teens in circles like the "fun" in DBD, the fun part is baiting out shots from their limited ammo weapons and looking for an opening.
Unfortunately ability cooldowns are long enough that sometimes you get stuck unable to do anything but wait for them to finish refreshing, and that's a problem. Monster just has more things to take into account, and less tools to do it with.
I'm at like 50% win rate, balance isn't the issue, it's something deeper.
Even still, I think this game has the potential to be much better than DBD, which I found boring as hell, and the reason for that is BECAUSE the teens can fight back.
