Ciao! Is the included emulator with this title running the game super slow for you, even though your PC meets the minimum requirements? What if I told you that the iso files for the PS1 game are included with your installation of Glover on Steam? What if I also told you that they are a simple few clicks away - AND that you can plug them into any emulator on any device you want? Yes, even that Playstation Classic thing Sony tossed out years back? Read on, and all will eventually be made clear...

First, ya wanna go into yer game library. Right click on Glover on the left, as shown here:

On the little widget that pops up, navigate to manage > browse local files.

Bazinga! A window popped up. Congrats! Just a few more steps! Now, double click on the folder titled ps1...

Go into the resources folder - titled "res"...

And here we are! The files you want are "Glover (USA).bin" and "game.cue"

Now, I'll leave it up to you with what you plan on doing with these files. Of course, you can run them in your favorite emulator on any device you wish, or if you're weird like me you'll just mod your Playstation Classic Mini and play it on that. Spoiler alert, it runs great on the Classic, but the FMV's are bugged.

I hope you enjoyed my little guide that could! It's my first one, so I'd like to see some feedback from you guys. I hope it helped you at least a tad bit. I wish all of you a great day/evening/night, whatever time it is for you over there.

Ciao!

Sorry for all the obnoxious comments, I do tend to ramble. I'm on the Autism spectrum, kinda goes with the territory. XD

(In fact, if you do some digging in your Steam install of Glover, you'll also find DOZENS of prototype N64 ROMS of both Glover 1 and 2, as a free bonus!)

PiKO has a habit of including ROM files with their releases (heck, the Steam version of Super 3D Noah's Ark includes the SNES rom file in it's install, as a .sfc file. It's a bit wonky though because Retroarch won't recognize it unless you do a manual scan. You won't get artwork for it that way, but hey, free SNES version! Game Preservation, Woo!

If the emulator the Steam port uses doesn't suit your needs, you can always follow my guide here to find the ISO (bin/cue) files and put them into any external emulator of your choice, on any platform of your choice as long as it has the specs to emulate PS1 (which is not a high bar to clear at all!) and it is 100% legal because these files are included with your copy of Glover on Steam. It is highly encouraged by the devs that you use these files however you see fit! :)

* To clarify, those directions are for the emulator included with the Steam port and not an external emulator.

GreatNinja412, There is a settings menu in the Steam version's emulator. I recall being able to set the binds there. You can access it at any time in-game. You have to have the PS1 version loaded up in Steam to access, though. Unfortunately I forgot what button/key triggers these settings to appear but I'm sure it's something as straightforward as the escape key. I hope this helps!

Is there anyway to switch the binds of the PS1 version (while playing on Steam)?
