Broom Hatter’s moveset utilizes her trusty broom to attack her enemies. She also takes inspiration from the Cleaning Ability in the Kirby games. Swing and sweep your broom around the battlefield to clean up a victory, and use the Friend Super-Vac to apply stage pressure. Perhaps some old friends will show up to help out in your Specials?

Pitch shows up to help out by turning into a bucket of water that you can throw projectiles with. The projectile itself is fairly large and travels at an arc. You can charge the move to send the projectile flying at a higher speed!



Nago shows up to help out by using Broom Hatter as a rag to dash forward. It travels pretty far, allowing you to either close the distance between you and your opponent, or as a means to recover while offstage. It will also bounce off of walls if it hits one. On hit, Nago will toss Broom Hatter upward, allowing you to use it as a combo starter, extender, or a confirm tool! Has high endlag and can only be used once per airtime.



ChuChu shows up to help out by riding with Broom Hatter on her broom. This move sends Broom Hatter upward with a weak hitbox. It’s a fairly standard recovery move, nothing too special here.



This is Cleaning’s Friend Ability in Kirby: Star Allies. In Rivals, it has been repurposed as a means for stage control!
You can throw it onto the battlefield like an item in 2D Kirby. The angle at which you throw it can be adjusted by holding Special and inputting up or down, or you can just place it at your feet by pressing parry while holding it.
While it’s onstage, you can input Down Special again to make it vacuum. If it grabs someone, then it will fire in the direction Broom Hatter inputted Down Special.



You can hit it with NSpecial’s projectile to make it fire three smaller water projectiles in a spread shot.
You can hit it with FSpecial to move the Super-Vac forward.



You can also vacuum yourself to fire yourself out of it as a movement option. Use this as a way to chase after opponents offstage that are just out of reach!

Some of Broom Hatter’s normals also have unique attributes to them.

Broom Hatter will swing her broom in front of her, just like she always does. This may seem like a fairly standard 1-hit jab, but it has additional purpose. While sweeping, you can move back and forth by holding either left or right. You can also cancel the move with a jump on hit, allowing you to follow up with your other moves!



A classic Kirby technique that has stood the test of time. As the name suggests, you can slide under certain attacks and even off ledges. Hit an opponent with this to bounce upward!



A stab downwards with the tip of the broom. Hit with the broom's tip to spike people! On hit, regardless of which hitbox you land, you’ll bounce upward, so the sourspot can be used in certain scenarios.



A powerful swipe with the broom. Has somewhat low width, but makes up for it in having strong knockback and a tall hitbox!
