Overview

Could you possibly award?

1. Go into your game's graphic settings.

2. Turn off the Steam Overlay.

3. Choose either 'Oculus VR' or 'Steam VR' mode on launch.

Could you possibly award?

I'm not forcing you but if you do have some spare Steam points could you possibly award?

(or I'll probably beat your dog into a small brown stain)

1. Go into your game's graphic settings.

Open up the menu book, and select the cogwheel.

Select graphics and set MSAA to Disabled or x2.

If you set MSAA to Disabled, set the textures to as low as possible. And you won't notice anything.
If you set MSAA to x2, set textures to medium. For the most immersive experience possible.

2. Turn off the Steam Overlay.

This is if you are REALLY desperate for frames.

This literally only squeezes out at least 1-3 frames back and is NOT recommended since most Steam games rely on the Steam Overlay for game functions to work.

In the top left corner click on 'Steam', then in the drop-down menu, 'Settings'.

The settings menu will open.

Throughout the list, click on 'In Game'

If 'Enable the Steam Overlay while in-game' is checked, uncheck it.

3. Choose either 'Oculus VR' or 'Steam VR' mode on launch.

'Oculus VR' will grant more performance than the 'Steam VR' mode, but it could be the opposite in most cases. Just try to flip-flop between settings and see which one gives better performance.

[If you for some reason don't have Steam VR, Steam VR is 5~ GB.]

3. Task Manager trick for the Blade & Sorcery application.

Once you open the game, go into the windows search box and search up 'Task Manager' or alternatively press 'CTRL+ Shift + ESC'

Click the carrot right next to 'Blade & Sorcery'.
Right click on 'BladeandSorcery' and click 'Go to details'.

You should see 'BladeandSorcery.exe'.
If you don't, scroll through the list of applications to find it.

Right click on 'BladeandSorcery.exe' and hover over 'Set priority'.

Click on 'High'. You CAN set it to 'Realtime' but it'll most likely lag every other application that is open on weaker machines until you close the game.

You'll see a prompt. Click on 'Change priority'.

You can now close Task Manager and continue to play Blade & Sorcery.

4. Task Manager trick on OVRServer.

ONLY FOR OCULUS USERS.

Once you open the game, go into the Windows search box and type in 'Task Manager' or alternatively press 'CTRL+ Shift + ESC'

This will NOT be in Apps. Instead, you have to scroll down to Background processes and look for 'OVRServer_x64.exe' manually.

Right click on 'OVRServer_x64.exe' and click go to details.

Right click on 'OVRServer_x64.exe' and hover over 'Set priority'

Click on 'High'. You CAN set it to 'Realtime' but it'll most likely lag every other application on weaker machines until you close the game.

A prompt will pop up. Click on 'Change priority'.
