1.) Start game via Steam as usual

2.) As soon as the splash-screen shows up (Easy Anti Cheat splash) quickly focus on another window/program (Webbrowser, Word, ...) except any Steam window.

3.) Interact with the program you are focused until the game intro is started to prevent the game refocussing itself.

4.) Wait some more seconds then switch back to the game.

5.) You should now be able to skip the intro video and play as usual.

Since the devs dont have any proper solution found for this it is not completely clear why this is happening but its definitively related to the Easy Anti Cheat solution.
I guess that there is an issue with binding to the HID drivers while starting since it looks like it could not focus itself properly (mouse pointer usually visible when stuck at intro video).

I did not discovered that solution by myself. I came across it while looking for hours for a working solution. All the suggestions which are mentioned for apparently just every fault (say driver update, windows update, exec as administrator or my favourite: reinstall windows) did not work.
