Description
The former site of the "August 1" uprising headquarters was originally Jiangxi travel agency. It was built in the 13th year of the Republic of China (1924). It is located at No. 256, Zhongshan Road, Nanchang , Jiangxi . It is a gray five storey building with 96 rooms. In 1927, Jiangxi Grand travel agency became the general headquarters leading the uprising. On March 4, 1961, the former site of the "August 1" uprising headquarters was announced by the State Council of the people's Republic of China as the first batch of national key cultural relics protection units.

Well done. Looks like an interesting building architecturally, blending Western and Chinese influences, and it obviously was part of an interesting and important story.
