You can easily open up the fight against fast-hitters like Nexus Soldats, as you'll be more likely to hit them first.

Also, if your combo meter is high, your normal hits have a much higher daze chance too.
So it's better to spam normal attacks if you are "Surrounded" + "Have a high combo meter"."
