You're the first person to ask me this.
I have some ideas on legs for infected, but all of them will break compatibility with mods one way or another.
The system that was implemented for the survivor legs was a lucky find by Lux, the creator of the plugin, maintaining compatibility for custom survivor animations and models.
(Though survivor mods like Coach Gaming and Yoshi obviously break the illusion, but no way of fixing it)
Sorry for the misinterpretation.
Seeing as it's their mod, yeah, ask them for assistance if you want the bug to be fixed.
Can't hurt to try.
Clear and Reflective Water does not contribute to the bug.
The legs will still cut off on water regardless of the water mod.
Clear and Reflective Water simply made the bug more obvious on dirty/swampy water.
Even the vanilla water had half of the legs part in it visible. With DMG, there's an unnatural cutoff seam that's there if you look hard enough.
Cold Stream's 1st map water pit is clear enough without the clear water mod for this bug to be noticeable there.
So this is solely a bug with DMG only.
Your issue is actually an issue with DMG mods, not the legs.
All the DMG mods cause the disappearing legs in water on all affected models, and this bug occurs even when you view that model from another survivor's perspective.
I never found a problem before as I never use any sort of DMG mod.
This means the only person that can fix it is the creator of DMG, and not me.
