Wardlow has become a breakout star in AEW over the past few years, gaining fame as MJF's bodyguard and continuing his upward trajectory as a member of The Pinnacle.

After months of tension, Wardlow eventually turned on MJF to become a babyface, kicking off a run that carried him to a victory over his former employer and a TNT Championship title win.
