(ToD) (Almost) Lore Friendly Popculture Necromancy

Description
THIS MOD WON'T RECIEVE ANY MORE UPDATES AS I'M NOT USING THE MAIN MOD ANYMORE AND I DON'T HAVE ENOUGH TIME FOR MAINTENANCE. IF ANYONE WANTS TO TAKE THE MANTLE THEY CAN DO IT WITHOUT PERMISSION. IF THEY LINK THEIR MOD IN THE COMMENTS I'LL LINK IT TO THE MAIN DESCRIPTION ASAP.

This is a submod for the Popculture Necromancy mod which changes its effects so that vampire troops, necrophage monsters and some beasts don't immediately banish after their leader is gone (though they'll probably do it soon after, anyway) for more of a lore friendly flavor.

Basically, skeletons and ghosts will be gone the moment the necromancer is dead, other vampires, foul beasts and monsters will not. Also, per last update, necrophages and other monsters will get rampage on lord's death, representing the confusion and bloodlust product of suddenly not being mind controlled.

Compatible with the main mod, Expanded Roster and Radious.

It works right now. I wasn't updating it for a long time and still don't have plans to update it further, but a few days ago decided to spend half an hour revising and updating the mod. I left the description intact as I still don't have long term plans to keep it updated after every game update.

im afraid the multiple states of whether this works or not in the description and title make it rly confusing if this works lol

ik it says someone can keep it going, but do you mean in the sense that it works right now and they can do future versions? or that you just updated it to say that, and it doesnt work rn? sorry again, just confused :p

Should be fixed, @erewrewrewrewr, give it a go.

Makes me ctd now. I use enhanced bloodlines and 2x unit size mods for everyone.

Ok, after investigating, I had misunderstood how rampage works. It only makes a unit attack uncontrollably after taking damage so it shouldn't be too bad. I'll add it on the next version and listen to feedback from there.

Not a bad idea, though it would make the battle more or less autoresolve after the lord is dead taking away even more player agency (unless you have a few blood knights on reserve). I'll give it a go when I have time to update and see how it affects the outcomes of battles. May include it as it looks lorefriendly enough, but it may make the system kind of boring, maybe.

Maybe you could give beasts (and some of the monsters) rampage that is in effect as soon as the lord is dead. Kinda their primal instincts no longer being suppressed by dark magic you know?

Ty for this, the combo is perfect now!
