Description
With permission from Jarlotee [github.com], the original author of the mod, I have updated the mod for 1.2.9 and added configuration options.

Currently an issue with the Mod Settings. Do not touch the in-game settings as it will break your game.

OK, I managed to solve it for everyone who needs it:
Don't touch the mod settings.

If they do and the mod breaks they should go to:

"C:\Users\YourUser\Documents\Mount and Blade II Bannerlord\Configs\ModSettings"
Here you must delete the file called "BannerlordBank"

and then to:

"C:\Users\YourUser\Documents\Mount and Blade II Bannerlord\Configs\ModSettings\ButterLib"
and remove "options"

With that the mod should work."

Place it last in the load order if you do not get income

Also make sure you understand the configuration options before you change them.
I cannot tell you how you like to play the game, but this mod is already very, very overpowered. Altering the settings might make you an unstoppable god. But if that's what you like, go ahead.

Bannerlord Banks

As of e1.1.x you have a few ways of creating residual income:

Fiefs
Caravans
Workshops
Trade Perk (Spring of Gold)

Fiefs are only available mid/late game depending on your play style, require active management, and are vulnerable to looters, raids and sieges.

Caravan parties seem to ignore all the skills and perks of your leader (max size 30) making them vulnerable to looters and enemy lords.

Workshops are stuck at level 1, with income that is highly volatile given they need a steady supply of both materials and buyers. Not to mention that a rival kingdom can happy seize your workshop if you become an enemy for a hot second.

Spring of Gold requires 250 trade, typically mid/late game and the interest (while amazing) caps out at 1,000 denars.

IMHO whether you are an independent kingdom, mercenary or sworn vassal all your investments are unavoidably vulnerable to be undone at the snap of the AI's fingers. Surely there must be a better way!

How it works

Bannerlord Banks creates a moneylender in each city that will happily allow you to deposit as much gold as you like at a competitive rate (based on the town's prosperity).

"But wait!", you say, "the Catholic Church banned usury during the dark ages!" You are correct, but lets take a step back. There is no Catholic Church in this game and besides the game itself has a policy called `Forgiveness of Debts`.

So, how much can you make?

The game currently has 30 days per season for a total of 120 game days per year.

If we assume that a VERY prosperous city is at or above 6000 prosperity and you have an investment in said city then you can expect to get the full 60% APY or about 0.5% daily interest.

Vulnerabilities

You do need to shop around to find a city that is already prosperous or is moving in the right direction.

A city with 0 prosperity will yield you zero interest. So there may be reasons to move your gold from time to time.

Your investment cannot be:

Seized during war (since the moneylender is tied to the city, not the factions)
Sacked by bandits (I don't have any plans to add bank robberies or unlawful seizures)
Stolen by your spouse
Spent by your clan members

Withdrawing your money can be done at any time for a modest fee (currently 10%).

To be clear, a well functioning caravan, trade shop or perk WILL have better returns.

I for one would rather pay may hard working army with a safe/steady income from my low yield investments.

Bonus to your Trade Skill
Also it felt super dumb that you are only a good trader/investor if you are actively slogging mules from town to town.
Each day a portion (currently 15%) of you earned interest will count as trade income, giving you a passive improvement to your trade skill.

I am faced with the problem that I am not receiving a reward for the amount deposited in the bank.

This changes nothing in the base game, and serves no other purpose than for calculations of daily income, used solely by the mod. I can rename the class to "NumberThatServesLittlePurposeNotToBeConfusedWithDaysInGame", would suit you better?

yea forgot, its 84(confused it with 81,a season is 21 days)
the mod works,but set it to 84 please,reduce the money making amount or something like that,no need to change the amount of days in a year. or set it on a weekly basis,or a monthly basis,something like that.

@atlas Pretty sure a year is 84 days. Never the less, it is set to 120 for balancing purposes. The shorter the year, the more money you’ll make. With this mod you can already fund 17 end games with one investment, so it’s too OP already. Can you confirm the mod still works? Even after saving and exiting?

an in game year is 81 days,not 120. also why did you set the bar at 120 minimum and 365 max? make it fully adjustable. i literally cannot set it to 81 which is the actual,true value.

after loading my game i get no income from my bank investments, i can see how much i have in the bank and i can withdraw and deposit more but i do not get any income, this was working when i first started my game and i have changed no mods or settings since, just closed the game and loaded my save

can you make it so you are able to take out custom amounts of money and put in custom amounts and maybe in the future loans but taking out and putting in custom would be wonderful
