Coins was used as a distraction device but I never really tested or saw it in action...

I totally agree. We have enough weapons right now. Hope they are focusing more on useful tools/devices on the next update for a better coop experience :)

That is true. Still nice to see. Hope they add them and road flares to the game. Road flares would make a great zombie distraction device...

I thought that the light will get weaker on the long run so I reduced the brightness a little which adds the to the scary atmosphere.

That would be them. They are a little brighter, designed to light a 10' square room.
