Description
Ever got mauled to death right after the login in a multiplayer server without having the time to realize what was going on? Or even before being able to see anything at all?
This mod provides a safe login experience by making players temporarily invisible to zombies on login/game start. It will give you some invisibility time to escape, simulating that while you were offline your character didn't simply stand there waiting for the zombies to surround them.

How does the mod work?
- Upon entering the game a timer will start (configurable in the sandbox options). The player is invisible to zombies
- If the player moves the first timer will be replaced by a different one
- If any of the timer will elapse the player will be made visible
- If the player attacks (even without hitting anything) it will be made visible

So the mod ID has changed for some reason.

It now shows this in the active mods file

Ah, okay, well thank you for the detailed information. Hopefully you'll be able to figure something out, Something like this would be extremely helpful for those that have a not-so-great PC when they load in, even in singleplayer

yes, because that allows you to change the core game logic by replacing Java classes. I would have to replace a big chunk of the player logic. It's a very active area in their codebase and I would have to produce an updated mod every time they'll make a change and you'll have to replace the file every time.
If I don't release a timely change, and you'll still replace again the files, you might end up, potentially, with big instability problems and theoretically all sort of bugs.

@tanuki Not too sure how modding works in zomboid tbh, but some mods include a "zombie" folder in them that you have to manually drag and drop into the game folder. could something similar work here?

@DreezyMoto apparently Indie Stone no longer allows normal players to become invisible in build 42. I'll probably have to retire this mod

Doesn't seem to work singleplayer b42. tried messing with the load order as well :( the countdown text appears and tried changing the sandbox settings but doesnt seem to stick

Thank you, my shitty laptop taking ten minutes to load everything got me killed too many times

are there plans to update this?

So I tested it for myself, it's safe if you put it as the highest priority instead of the last ones.
