4. The Amazon (The Golden Axe refference, I suppose, upd: also may be Boy from Wonder Boy)

8. Blondie (Mortal Kombat or Streets of Rage refference, the characters refer to her as an amazon, but the only amazon is the 4th girl in the top row, upd: also may be a Double dragon reffence)

Trash puzzle is trash. This is the second puzzle in the game it looks like you have to brute force to work out (the other being the terrible thing The Bull is playing early on). Seriously this game does a lot right but these two puzzles drag the game down to a not recommended for me.

My guesses are:
Mustache guy is Haggar from final fight
The Amazon is the kid from wonder boy
The Knight is the guy from Ghosts 'n Goblins
The Doctor is Doctor Fred from Maniac Mansion.

I think the Knight is from Ghosts 'n Goblins.
Blondie/Bimmy is a reference to Double Dragon as far as I can tell. Most likely to Marian Kelly.
