To do this, follow the instructions below:

– Go into Steam -> Library -> Games view.
– Locate Football Manager 2023 and right-click on the game.
– Select ‘Properties’
– Click ‘Set Launch Options…’
– Copy the following into the dialogue box: --user_data_location="<path>"
Where the <path> section= enter the EXACT PATH what will the folder (ie: D:\FM2023Data ).



After that the FM will use this directory for the datas, there can put the facepacks, logos, etc.


After this settings, you NEED to check the cache selection tick in the ingame settings (see the steps below:)







"Use caching to decrease..." setting is unchecked, if you can agree to slow FM starting up process. Because if this is checked, then the new graphics* will not load and can starting up fast.
*new graphics=if there any new custom graphics from the last time when run the FM23

Now you need to check the "Reload skin when...", with this choose, you can reload the graphics ASAP with the "Reload skin" button in the screen bottom in the 4. step (see next screen). After this you can unchecked again.


"Confirm" OR "Reload Skin".
First push the "Reload skin" button, then the custom graphics will load immediately. After this loaded, you can untick the "Reload skin when..." in the 3. step, and finally you can push the "Confirm" button.

If doesn't work, this is the most important steps in this setting up:

Try to go throught the 1-4 steps as i sad in above (see the pictures). If the link is perfect (and you write the exact directory in the steam (see above)), then only in the game preferences will the problem.

Or this is the change from FM22 steps what you must do it:

So the most important steps is, start the game and go to the preferences menu:

1. Let's uncheck the "Use caching to decrease.." line and
2. check the "Reload skin when..." line in the settings,
3. after that push the "Reload skin" button on the bottom of the screen (see the pics above).
If success, will load some more time than early and change the graphics.
