Shishiro Botan Class Mod

This modification adds the playable character "Shishiro Botan" to your roster. It also includes an additional town event and 4 new trinkets. Look for new opportunities to combine character abilities, as well as try to find all the references!




Shishiro Botan was living in her estate with her friends peacefully, until one day she received a strange letter from her “neighbors”. Ancestor included them in his plans, and they have no right to refuse. The letter contained a curse that turned the entire family into demi-humans. Beastly instincts took over and the estate fell at the hands of the owners. Now only Shishiron can reverse the curse and save herself and her friends. And, gathering all her rage, take a deserved revenge.

Shishiron is a new damage dealer class with unique reload and recharge mechanics.

Botan can't switch places. Instead, she can replenishes her limited ammunition and enhances her next ability. This changes the characteristics of the abilities and allows for more thoughtful combinations and sequences.


Rapid Fire

Thanks to the marvelous engineering of her machine gun, Shishiron can lay suppressive automatic fire upon multiple targets, dealing medium damage and causing a weak but useful bleed.


Focused Shot

Focusing on a single enemy, Shishiron knows how to strike right where it hurts. She makes a precise shot at a single target, dealing increased damage to the bleeding enemies. After she shoots, Shishiron calibrates her sights, receiving a slight damage boost.


Grenade Out!

Shouting her famous "Poi", Botan throws a hand grenade right under the feet of the back row enemies, stunning them and dealing damage.


High Explosive Anti-Tank (HEAT) Charge

AR-PI-GI!
Shishiron shoots a single-targeted armor piercing rocket, dealing high damage and ignoring the PROT. Marked targets will recieve significantly more damage, however the backblast from the rocket will force her to stay at the rear of the party.


Unleash The Pack

The servants of the manor have also changed their appearance. Taking the form of wee living bombs, they will deal damage to multiple enemies as well as distracting them, decreasing speed and accuracy of affected targets. Little fellas are here and ready for battle!


Reckless Fury

With the Ancestor’s curse came beastly rage. Giving free will to her new instincts, Shishiron becomes significantly more dangerous in battle, dealing highly increased damage. However, by doing so, she will stress out the other party members. With great anger comes great responsibility.


Lion's Sight

Changed by the curse, her eyes have become more sensitive in darkness, which helps her with spotting tagets, showing a single invisible enemy and marking them for allies.

It's been some time since Botan started streaming and entertaining us, and this is, one could say, our late birthday present to her. I (Mistrin) have played an unthinkable number of hours in darkest dungeon, and I've always wanted to try making something for the game.
We wanted to do something more than just a reskin, so we tried to balance the mod and make it authentic (as authentic as an anime girl with a machine gun in Darkest Dungeon can be). But of course, most of the abilities and actions are inspired by memes from Botan's streams.

The decision to do something like this kinda just popped out of nowhere, we thought it would be cool to embody all of those memes from her streams into a mod. 'Twas our primary objective, because we really wanted her to be quite a unique class and not just a reskin. I (Grace) do enjoy watching her playing shooter games time to time, so I took a lot of inspiration from old fashioned real military equipment because new stuff will look too out of place, 'tis why she's carrying an M1918A2 BAR. (AK is kinda overrated tbh)
