Option 1 - no third party software but max 1600x900 resolution
Launch the game via the Launch setup program option and make sure you run the game at exactly 1600x900 resolution.

It is required to set the 1600x900 resolution every time you launch the game, because it doesn't save the option. If you still have trouble, try running the game in windowed mode as well.
Option 2 - can achieve native resolution using dgvoodoo2
1. Download dgvoodoo2 [dege.freeweb.hu].
2. Open the game directory and the archive with dgvoodoo2 side by side.
3. Copy dgVoodooCpl.exe to the game folder, then navigate to MS/x86 and copy all the files to the game folder.
4. Open dgVoodooCpl.exe from the game folder and make sure the settings match these and set the resolution to your desired.
(You can choose your own settings of course, but these are the ones that got it working for me, so I recommend sticking with those.)
5. Launch the game via the Launch setup program option and make sure you run the game at exactly 1600x900 resolution.

It is required to set the 1600x900 resolution every time you launch the game, because it doesn't save the option. If you still have trouble, try running the game in windowed mode as well.
Conclusion
I had trouble running these two games and it took me long time to get them running. I hope this will help you as it helped me.
