Hm, where are the disruptors? This ship will struggle to do anything to shields without any disruptors and taking down shields was the original intent. Its not this ships job to deal raw damage. There are better weapons & designs for purely dealing raw damage than Heavy Lasers - they're just there to accompany the Disruptors. And the two PD guns that took the Disruptors place aren't gonna do anything against a missile ship. Imo, with PD you have to go all in or not at all. I chose the not at all angle and focus on what this ship's good at instead - escorting a ship that deals a lot of raw damage but struggles with shields. If you can find a way to add meaningful point defense, while also keeping the ships role and other stats intact, that's an upgrade. Otherwise it's a downgrade.
