[Deprecated] Dark Classes Colored Icons

Description
The new icons for this mod have been added to the, more complete, Color Class Icons mod. This mod will remain up to not break any saves, but won't be updated. You can run both with no issues, but you only need the newer one.


Changes the class icons from Proficiency Plugin: The MOCX Initiative to color versions. The original class icons can be hard to tell apart at a glance, especially when scaled down 50% in the Show All Class Counts mod. So, this was made for personal use and uploaded by request.

Special thanks to Gabriel Cooper for requesting the original request, Vegeta002 for requesting other class icons, leading to the Color Class Icons mod, and Rusty Dios for letting me use the Rusty's Psionic icon as part of the Dark PsiOps icon.

Update done. Not a huge change to this mod, but now a bunch of other classes can have color icons too. (See the link the the description.)

@Vegeta002 I've changed my mind, and also the icons don't have to be just one color. So, I've created a mod with color icons for standard classes and the XCom proficiency ones. It'll be released once I've done some final in game checks, mostly making sure the colors I picked look ok. Based on those, there will also be minor changes in this mod; the new dark psiops looks really good.

Yeah, I agree, it would be nice to have the main proficiency classes be in color too. But it's not really all that feasible. You'd want closely related classes to be the same color (like marksmen and dark sharpshooters), but what about sappers and marines? Do you make them both the dark grenadier yellow? There are also more proficiency classes than dark classes, and a bunch of additional ones that fit in nicely. That's a lot of different colors that have to be distinct enough to tell apart at a glance (which, to me, is the whole point of changing the icons).

Ironic that there's a "coloured icons" mod for Proficiency MOCX, but nothing of the like for Proficiency XCOM.

Yes, no problem mid campaign (installing mid mission won't show up until the end of the mission though). Glad you like it!
