I think support ships are mostly characterized as "support" depending on their size relative to the budget of the fight. Any brawler ship can support, but they should also be able to hold their own being a brawler (outside of very specialized ships), otherwise the enemy can just destroy them quickly and shift focus back on the main ship. That's why I view this fight as viable.

what i see is a main dmg ship beating a support ship, not more, u cant compare them cause the tasks each one of this ships are different
