Description
Tram Promenade
... for Pedestrian Area (DLC Plazas and Promenades)

LATEST UPDATE: 08.01.2023: - complete overhaul of files (meshes, textures) - all tram promenades have the same meshes and textures, - Platforms on the basic version

Since the release of "Plazas and Promenades" I have been receiving inquiries about the Tram Promenade. Many players would like to use a pedestrian zone version.

Well... it's finally here :)

The Tram Promenade is a wider version of the original vanilla tram road.
The green median with its trees (replaceable) provides a better atmosphere.

Acknowledgments:
This network uses basic 3D bridge models from the Network Extensions Mod. All credits go to the creators. You are doing a great job. The Network Extensions 2 Mod you find here.
You do not need to subscribe to the Network Extensions Mod to use this network.

Features:
  • Tram and Bus Pedestrian Road with green median,
  • "Vanilla version" with custom textures,
  • Angle 90°,
  • trees replaceable,
  • theme grass track in the median,
  • Stops für trams and buses are possible on ground, elevated and bridge version

You require:
  • DLC Plazas and Promenades (für the mechanic of pedestrian roads),
  • DLC Snowfall (for the tram network)

Please note:
The new tram roads for the pedestrian zones are available in three surface versions. I couldn't decide on any of the toppings. I was always missing a "vanilla-typical" version. That's why this version has its own textures. At transitions (to the tram-pedestrian streets) there may be graphical errors. But it's limited :)

There are plans to release more "vanilla versions" in the future. Do you have any ideas or a wish? Then write me! :)

You are welcome to support my night shifts with a warm coffee: [paypal.me] (Only if you want of course!) :-)

If you like my addition, please give me a thumbs up :)

Have a nice day! :-)

@Wiwi Cool! Will be looking forward to your new additions then :)

However, as a narrow road version.
I guess that will be a two way single tram version of this road then? Very much appreciated too.

And maybe I'll test my luck with the asset editor for the avenue version - the biggest challenge will probably be modifying the tram tracks segment model in Blender as I'm a total noob at that XD

@johnrt
Only bus version is in the works.
A version with a one-way tram (one direction) and buses and service vehicles in the opposite direction is also in the works. However, as a narrow road version. :)

Really loving the clean looks of this road, good job :)

Ever considered doing a version with a single tram lane, but the other lane still running busses and service vehicles in the opposite direction? Used this one to replace a piece of road with only one tram lane, but bus lines going in both directions, so kinda stuck with an unused piece of track now. Would also love a bus-only version.

Keep up the great work, and many thanks :)

Great road! Will you make a trolley bus road as well?

My bad, I thought it was a tram from the workshop.

@Yung Tomo All vehicles are from the base game. With the last update, there were many new tram models for dlc snowfall.

What is the name of the tram in the pictures?

@Chamëleon TBN I think I used the original road from the mod. (I'm not so sure anymore, this road is a bit older...)

Have you used the original NExt2 road as a base or the optimized version by Cylis?
