Modular Radar Weapons Scope

Description
A microcontroller and demo setup for a radar weapons scope, with RGB control for backlight and a range of overlays.

Tracks up to 8 targets in a cone in front of the aircraft. Targets appear larger and brighter the closer they are to the aircraft.

Some overlays can compensate for angular velocity.

the absolute PERFECT thing for any early jet.
The fact that i can only guide my missiles by hoping the two dots merge is amazing.

what do i change the M value to, in order to make it work with higher a fov

Have you considered making a 2x2 version of these?

nvm it only seems to do it with large vehicles

why is it detecting 3 targets when it should be detecting 1?

Distance is only accounted for by the size of the dot on-screen. It is meant to function like a radar projection scope, showing targets roughly as they appear relative to the gun bore. It is basically optimised for air-to-air and air-to-ground missiles using the 1x1 missile radar and will show targets at larger sizes once they come closer than 4km (if I'm remembering correctly).

However you can use any radar part for input with practically any range or fov. Keep in mind the monitor will only show a small fov unless you change the 'm' variable in the LUA component.

I may add features to limit range, scale dot size, extend fov, or number targets on-screen, this just wasn't within the scope of the original release (pun intended). It seems a lot of people have tried this out (and left positive feedback - thank you all so much!), so if anyone has further suggestions be sure to let me know.

This is kinda a thermal sight - Dope!
