The Redguard Companion (Official Bethesda Guidebook)
By Pizkwat
In 1999, physical copies of The Elder Scrolls Adventures: Redguard shipped with three books. None of these books come with GOG's digital copy, but Steam was good enough to provide two of these books as PDFs with this new digital copy: the manual, and a comic book ("The Origin of Cyrus!"), which can both be found in the root folder of the game's install location. However, omitted from all digital versions is the third book, a 218-page strategy guide and hint book titled "The Redguard Companion."

A PDF of "The Redguard Companion"
As with all of the 90s The Elder Scrolls games, The Elder Scrolls Adventures: Redguard can sometimes be quite confusing, Redguard uniquely being an especially puzzle-focused game. As was done with Arena and Daggerfall, a hint book was a necessary concession to action-oriented gamers, or to players who simply could not solve or did not have the time to solve an especially difficult puzzle.
The omission of "Redguard Companion" from digital copies of Redguard is not such a problem in today's online age, where walkthroughs written or recorded by players are widely available. However, Redguard now being a vintage game, "Redguard Companion" ought to be considered a part of the vintage experience. Furthermore, it is a well-written guide, and contains additional lore for dedicated Elder Scrolls fans to enjoy.

Also, I don't think it says this in either the manual or "The Redguard Companion," so I'll say it here: Press F7 to disable auto-parry. To manually parry, press View.

Danke mein Freund ! Also Thanks so much for leading me to "The Internet Archive" , where the Redguard Companion is located. I wandered around that place in Digital form for at least 4 or 5 hours. I was so lost in amazing detail as I found old "Navigation Device Manuals" from the Lunar Lander Module of the Apollo 11 mission from 1969'ish ? Was so cool since I had gone into the US Air Force in Navigation back in mid-1986 and I had watched & been brought up watching those Lunar Landings.:bfgoldpack::kodp:
