Description


I personally don't like vanilla weapon ranges.
So this mod is perfect for me and my kind of people.

But really, don't you hate it when sniper rifles have such short ranges? I do too.
Well, not anymore.

Warning: This also changes turret ranges! This may be good or not depending on your situation.

Base
- Weapons not defined as long-ranged have their own range modifier (default 1x)
- All ranged weapons of greater than 60 have 2x range
- All ranged weapons of greater than 24.5 range have 2x range
- All ranged weapons of less than 24.5 range have 2x range

You can change the range multipliers in the mods settings yourself as well.

Mod now works perfectly fine in both 1.4 and 1.5.

This mod works for me on 1.6 as well

Seems to work fine on 1.6. I'm not getting any errors. I'm using the HugsLib update uploaded by DawnsGlow.

I have an Issue when i attack some enemys at long range they dont react since im outside of their aggro range but im still able to shoot them making most gunfights very easy. Any workaround?

It's okay the update is only coming in 3 weeks and there are still some mods that have not been updated yet

Unfortunately with the mod I can't even start dev quicktest. I'm sure it has to do with the fact that HugsLib isn't yet updated for 1.6. Gotta wait and see I guess.

@Farbott CE has it's own ranges afaik.

No idea, never played with CE. And I'm not active on RimWorld right now so it's not safe to say.
