Introduction
Don't you hate when you're playing Teardown and your computer lags or quits the game? Even if you have a decent or fast computer, you can still experience extreme lag! Luckily, I, the ABSOLUTE EXPERT CHAD I AM, have found some quick solutions!
Basic fixes
Easy Fixes
There are some quick easy solutions that you can do in the games options! (1) First off, go to the main menu, click options, and go to "Input". Here you will see some sliders and key binds. Find the "Smoothing" slider, and slide it all the way to the right. Then find the "tool sway" and disable it. (2) Then you go to the "Graphics" tab. Find the "Render Scale" and switch it to 75%, if you continue experiencing lag you can do 50%. with these settings combined you can switch the render quality to high with little problem.
Advanced fixes
(1)Find the "Display" tab on the options menu. If you have a big monitor this is for you, if you have a 1920 x 1080, consider switching to 1600 x 900. There is very very little graphics difference and it will run faster. If you do not have a big monitor, try finding a smaller size that fits your monitor.
Advanced fixes
(1) Open the (dun dun duuun) T A S K M A N A G E R, Ignore everything except Teardown. Right click and hit details(Or it might say go to details). A scary looking .exe list will open up. Don't panic, we're here to find the program teardown.exe, right click and find the set priority tab. Hover over it and select "high". This will make sure that Teardown is now more important to run than other apps in the background(Such as steam hosting or windows hosting files). After you've done that get out of task manager and play Teardown dang it!
(2) If you have NVIDIA, tinker with the settings. I can't say much else since i'm not an expert on this.
Conclusion
