I'm going to recommend some university courses in law to the authors, because their education and understanding is clearly lacking. First, a simple read of the CC for DayZ mods and the EULA for the workshop make it clear that you gave up all rights when you posted it up here. Second, all you are doing is re-skins and placement changes to existing content - and it's NOT your content. Scripts designed to work with a specific game have long since been found to be derivative or fan works, but even if they weren't, you'd still fall under CC/EULA. Third, there's the nasty side of the DMCA - knowingly filing (or being in a position where you should have known) a false DMCA claim will result in it costing you. Just ask Sony. Lastly, I'd be amused to see just how far a Russian citizen could push this in a US court right now. LOL.

Want to maintain some sort of distribution rights? Make your own frigging content and keep it off of Steam.

Well, someone cant or just dont want to understand that "contend taken out of the game" is licensed (share alike, if you take stuff and work on it or change it every one can addapt it) so you dont have ANY RIGHTS about it unless you got permission from "Bohemia Interactive" or creat your very own contend like own 3D models etc.

Just read the license conditions below. Btw, false DMCA claims will take actions agains yourself and your steam account.

Well, this doesn't work anymore. Seems 1.24 screwed up this one and the other "Smersh Fix" Now you can only put the vest in the belt slot with these mods.
