Description
This submod compatible with Para Bellum - Collection/Combat and Ancient Combat, varies slightly some aspects of the battles, providing an overall different experience and increasing the difficulty.

The troops' morale is lower, so they will be afraid faster when fighting on the front line. In this regard, the experience is more important now, but it is also achieved at a slower pace. Also, the fatigue is slightly retouched, therefore keeping reserves can be crucial.

These changes also affect the AI. For instance, the weaker/low-rank troops can retire faster but can return if they feel safe again, so is interesting to face these attacks in waves.

The extreme climate conditions can affect the units more negatively, and the siege vehicles have a lower damage and ignition threshold, so the assaults on the walls that are not well planned are more likely to fail.

Finally, the elephants can be scared easily by a large amount of soldiers, so its danger increases as it can become a double-edged weapon as it happened historically.

Installation instructions:

1. Subscribe and place the Para Bellum submods above the main Para Bellum mods in the Mod Manager.

Well seen the reinforcements issue. As they always come running, a possible solution would be to adjust the run fatigue so if they have to cross the map they reach combat active or winded but not very tired or exhausted, and compensate by increasing the fatigue during the melee combat. Also, I'm going to release a submod to bring back the original battlefields size, currently they are 50% bigger, so it could help in this regard. In any case I'll try to fine tune it to minimize this handicap.

This works well in a straight fight between two armies, makes garrison siege defences harder also. Slower xp gain makes champions important now as well.

If you're fighting 2 stacks, the ai normally exhausts the 2nd one rushing them to the fight so 2v1 battles end up being a lot easier than they would be normally. This is on VH/VH fighting decent Carthaginian & Macedonian troops mid game.

I'm guessing nothing can be done about suicidal aggressive armies not waiting for reinforcements as thats traditional for TW, maybe keep the morale and xp changes but tweak the fatigue?
