If you're fighting 2 stacks, the ai normally exhausts the 2nd one rushing them to the fight so 2v1 battles end up being a lot easier than they would be normally. This is on VH/VH fighting decent Carthaginian & Macedonian troops mid game.
I'm guessing nothing can be done about suicidal aggressive armies not waiting for reinforcements as thats traditional for TW, maybe keep the morale and xp changes but tweak the fatigue?
