Everyone who played must have seen the movie chase mode in Driver San Francisco, where the player is allowed to live the chases from the films "Gone in 60 Seconds", "Bullet" and others.

So, I, like many other players, wanted to access the city with the atmosphere of the 70s in the free ride driving mode and was a little disappointed that this was not possible in the vanilla game.

This mod Just correcting this misunderstanding, for the atmosphere of the 1970s, was made by Olanov.
But initially it was made in such a way that modern trucks often appear on the map, destroying the atmosphere of the 70s, as well as a set of various supercars / sports cars from the 80s. Moreover, this is done in such a way that the probability of the appearance of all kinds of sports cars there is so great that at every intersection there will be a couple of Camaros and Mustangs.

I got acquainted with the mod 2 weeks ago, took it and edited the mod in such a way that the atmosphere of the 70s was more believable. Now rare cars like Miura, Shelby Cobra and Aston Martin appear much less often, and the city itself does not look like a sports car exhibition. And the cars of the 80s do not appear in traffic at all.

Moreover, the ability to superpowers of the protagonist was removed from the mod for greater realism and immersion, and a black and white coloring of the Dodge Monaco policeman with a 440 motor from RacingFreaks was added. By the way, now you can ride it while participating in the pursuit of criminals.

This mod (it was made for the free ride mode around the city) is recommended to install and play only AFTER completing the main single player campaign. Just copy the files from the archive to the folder with the game with file replacement. If you want to keep the original white police Dodge Monaco, do not copy the file from the "Install" folder from downloaded file.
