Stats and features
Tier three attack sub
Priced: 25,000 mk
Cargo capacity: 24 Crates
Size: 50x23m

  • 2 Large hardpoints
Dual coil on top and Railgun on bottom
  • 2 Small turret hardpoints
    2 Coilguns pre-installed
  • An Automatic discharge coil
    Located outside the reactor room
  • Balanced reactor controller
Button to disable in reactor room if you don't want it
  • On board Deconstructor and Fabricator
With linked large lockers of course
  • Automated flood management system
Can bring 3 small pumps and all three ballast pumps to bear in the right conditions. Handles flooding very well but is easily broken by careless use of the ballast bombs
  • Subsurface electric™️ automatic battery backup
    Charges/discharges automatically to prevent undervolting
  • 2 fully furnished airlocks
One for above and below the sub respectively. Both airlocks have motion alarms, automatic doors, and dedicated lockers. The bottom airlock however has a built in drainage system to help with flooding/ballast control and prevent divers from getting knocked off their feet.
  • The "Ballast Bomb" system
To eradicate any and all unwanted presence in the ballast tanks the Habakkuk comes equipped with dual detonators on each of the ballast pumps. When armed via the lever next to the navigation terminal (Indicated by the red lights in gunnery and amidships) the bombs can be triggered by motion in the tanks or one of the three buttons amidships. The dual frag grenades loaded in normally are powerful enough to instantly kill all ballast flora in a tank and just about anything small enough to have gnawed it's way in, if the crew is feeling particularly suicidal it will take even stronger explosives. Though anyone seeking to wire in stronger explosives should take note of the bombs proximity to the magazine and cargo...
  • And Dugong style auto doors

In game Description
The Habakkuk is an utterly unique military sub built into a piece of sheet ice. The literal tones of ablative armor, slough of turrets, and anti personnel explosives make the Habakkuk both exceptionally deadly and expensive to repair. She's cramped, cold as hell, and slower than the glacier she was cut from but damn she's mean.

Notes
I wanted a big attack sub fit for a smaller crew, like a herja but without flooding when you sneezed too hard in it so inspired by the ice pieces in the editor I made this. It's very powerful as long as you pay to have the ice refreshed at outposts.

Trivia: Project Habakkuk was a plan by the British during WWII to construct a gargantuan aircraft carrier out of artificial ice. the codename references Habakkuk 1:5 (KJV)

It is working as intended

Just tried the sub, the oxygen generator is not working as intended, but has some odd components that are connected to oxy detectors? (my guess that oxygen gets consumed at those detected rooms and some oxygent percentage in each room hits the *sweet spot* of the components turns on the generator)

Don’t sell yourself too short, the ice pieces are a massive pain to get looking decent.

It's so funny, for a while I was making a sub based off Project Habakkuk but my sub came out WAY worse than this. Could never get the ice to look real cool. This thing rocks!

-Recolored most of the sub and it's lights
-Optimized lights (Removed shadow casters to improve performance)
-And Lowered Speed

It did end up looking like that, plus with how Tier three subs are locked it's just as easy to get as the crystal cruiser

reminds me of the crystal cruiser from FTL
