Description
This is an update for Second Wave: Delta Strike

I'm a fan of Delta Strike for more variance in how to approach enemies but it had it's issues.

I've disabled all logging by default, added config options to support various raider factions if desired, and added options to modify HP, shield, and armor for the categories it already selected on (delta strike only).

I know it has had performance issues relating to the force field ability that some seem to speculate was due to the logging. If it's still going on let me know if you know an easy way to replicate the issue and I'll see what I can do.

Now, the original description:

For those of us who enjoy the idea of Beta Strike, if not the execution. Delta Strike is a toggleable Second Wave option that increases the durability of the aliens and XCOM alike, but through a mix of armor, shield hp, dodge, and perks instead of just HP like in Beta Strike - and this is all configurable! If you think it's too rough, it's just an .ini edit away to your liking. This will apply changes to any and all aliens, even those added by custom mods such as DerBK's ABA. Theta Strike is Delta Strike except without inflating HP - it'll take vanilla values and straight convert HP into armor/shields.

Start a new campaign, and be sure to check 'Delta Strike' in Advanced Options or load a midcampaign save into the strategy layer - a prompt should come up that will allow you to enable Delta Strike midcampaign! Then feel free to edit XComSecondWaveDeltaStrike.ini as you see fit - I've left plenty of notes on what each variable does!

Now with more configuration options!
You can set delta strike bonuses for specific character template names or group name that take priority, in that order, so AdvTrooperM1 would take priority over AdventTrooper which would take priority over the default system that just uses the IsAdvent flag. You can also now set minimums for a stat bonus so if the armor bonus would naturally end up a 0 you can say you want it to be at least a 1.

For XCOM the delta strike armor bonuses are also extra configurable. If you want some specific mod armor to get a different bonus than the regular tier/class options you can configure that. I've included support for light and heavy kevlar if you have anything that uses that with an option to turn the resistance kevlar into light kevlar.

Configuration examples are provided in the ini file.

In answer to my own question, yes, yes it does. At least the Theta Strike option does.

Does this allow for Soldiers to get Gravely Wounded? I play with Augmentations, so I'd like that to happen to force augmenting, but with Beta Strike in the game, it never happens.

The second wave option just toggles enemies, XCOM's armor is done through config (it has to do with how rookies are generated for gatecrasher). There is a config option to change how that compatibility works with armor overhaul.

Attention!

This mod conflicts with "[WOTC] Iridar's Armor Overhaul 2.0" and swaps Ablative Plating with Armor.

And this conflict happens even when you don't select/activate the second wave option.

Ah, I didn't remember it said that. That's the description from the original version of delta strike, I rewrote it to make it more configurable but that wasn't a part of it.

To the best of my knowledge no second wave option is togglable mid-campaign. I guess it could have been set up to be enabled through config, but that would be a different implementation.

it does but isn't togglable mid-campaign
