Intro
So, you're interested in adding more content to Click Real Fast?

If you have files, you too can upload an item to the Workshop.
Compatibility
The custom content file structure of Click Real Fast is the same for Click Here, so Music and Background files are compatible with both games. Video backgrounds are not compatible with Click Here (yet). See guide below.

Note:
Please label NSFW content if uploading to workshop. It's Click Real Fast, not [REDACTED] Real Fast
2.1.1: Video Backgrounds
Follow the previous steps from 2.1 - Backgrounds, but note the following:

Tags:
use_audio: Pauses in-game music and plays audio from video (will not play video audio if no tag is present)

Supported file types:
.mp4
2.1.2: Video Backgrounds - Thumbnails
Include .png or .jpg file in the same directory as the video and include ".videothumbnail" in extension.

Example:
glitch_01 - dynamic.mp4
glitch_01 - dynamic.videothumbnail.jpg

transformers_2007_ending - use_audio.mp4
transformers_2007_ending - use_audio.videothumbnail.jpg

Supported file types:
.png
.jpg
2.2: Music
Navigate to ..\common\Click Real Fast\Custom\Custom Music\[NEW FOLDER]

Create a new folder and name it. This name will be the title.

Inside this new folder, add music files. See "Formatting" and "Supported File Types" for naming convention.

Formatting:
List artist name, then song name. The game will automatically split and format based on the first hyphen.
[ARTIST] - [SONG]

Example:
NullReferenceException - Idea.mp3
Linkin Park - What I've Done.mp3
DECO 27 - ヒバナ -Reloaded-.mp3

Supported file types:
.mp3
.ogg
.wav

https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2913653940

Note:
Music files are large. The more songs you have, the longer the game will take to load.

Note 2:
Standard file naming limitations are still present, therefore file names cannot contain the following characters:
\ / : * ? " < > |
2.3: Cursors
Navigate to ..\common\Click Real Fast\Custom\Custom Cursors\[NEW FOLDER]

Create a new folder and name it. This name will be the title.

Inside this new folder, add pictures to use as backgrounds. See "Tags" and "Supported File Types" for naming convention.

In-game cursors use the top-left corner of the image for click point (See image below). Ensure the aspect ratio is 1:1, as it will stretch otherwise.

Tags:
col=######: force color by hexadecimal

Example:
cursor.png
cursor col=FFFFFF.png
the_most_epic_cursor_col=FFB101.jpg

Preferred aspect ratio:
1:1

Supported file types:
.png
.jpg

https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2940624229

3.1: Workshop Thumbnails
To add a custom thumbnail to any file for the Steam Workshop (music, cursor), add a picture to the folder called "image.jpg". For video thumbnails, refer to 2.1.2: Video Backgrounds Thumbnails.

Thumbnails are automatically generated for cursors if a file does not already exist.

Preferred aspect ratios:
1:1
16:9

Note:
File must be originally encoded as .jpg
File must remain under 1mb

Workshop upload will fail otherwise
4.1: Uploading to Workshop
1. Open Click Real Fast
2. Pause the game, and test if new content works as expected.
3. Click "Upload" in the pause menu, then click the file you want to upload.
4. Provide a description.
5. Press upload. Do not close the game until the upload is complete
6. Navigate to https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/my/myworkshopfiles/ to and make any required changes to the new item, including title, descriptions, or previews.

You have now successfully uploaded a file to the Steam Workshop for Click Real Fast!
4.2: Updating Existing Workshop Items
If you need to update an existing workshop item, make any required changes, then reupload.

If the content folder contains a file called "ID_XXXXXXXXXX", this will override the existing item on the Workshop with that ID, if you are the creator/contributor.

The file "ID_XXXXXXXXXX", is generated during the first upload, then is persistent on any updates. Ensure the ID corresponds to the workshop item you are updating.
4.3: Other Files
Upload requirements:
1. ID file must exist inside folder called "ID_XXXXXXXXXX" - Automatically generated; ID number can be modified to update existing item as needed

2. Blank file must exist inside folder called "Music", "Backgrounds" or "Targets" (depending on the item type) - Automatically generated during upload, do not modify
Conclusion
It's a fairly simple endeavour, and I recommend you try it.

Try uploading your favourite song or album, a picture of your cat, or even an image of Torcularis Septentrionalis.

The possibilities are endless!
