Want to get slow-motion without mods, or make slow-motion on another Source game ?
Then heres a guide to do a slow-motion with console cheats !

Start up the wanted Source game and open up the developper console, and, if you're aleardy in a game (preferably singleplayer), type in sv_cheats 1, its the only way for host_timescale to work.

First, open the console, and type in bind [SlowmoKey] "host_timescale 0.1".
You can make it go from 0.01 up to 0.8 (you are free to choose lower, but it will become a diaporama instead of a videogame), [SlowmoKey] is a placeholder, you are free to choose the keybind for the slowmotion.

Now, to make time return to its original passing, type in the console bind [ResetTimeKey] "host_timescale 1", to make it return to its original passing, [ResetTimeKey] is also a placeholder, choose your key for it freely.

You're bored of waiting the Gman to finish his speaking ?
Then add this bonus keybind for the acceleration of time bind [FastTimeKey] "host_timescale 2"
You can choose to make this time beetween 1.5 up to infinity, but its preferable for your computer's lifetime, that you don't try to get too fast (something like over 50 could be too much).
[FastTimeKey] is also a placeholder.

Want to stop time to evaluate the situation ?
Then type in bind [StopTimeKey] "host_timescale 0.00001".
This doesn't really stop time, but gives the impression, because actually, time is just really slow, its around 100000 times slower.
[StopTimeKey] is also a placeholder for your keybind.

You've gotten yours keys to slow, reset, accelerate the passing of time, and stop time, use it at your advantage while fighting, you can still move your view as fast as you want, but reloading, moving, and other things are slower, fasttime can too be both a burden and an advantage for you, with quicker reloading and ultra quick long actions, but incontrolable movement and enemy showering you with bullets and stoptime is just a way to see whats around you and quickly kill the metrocop behind you.
