Description
The protagonist of Dead Space, He has survived the horrors within the USG Ishimura and is ready to take on new threats with his trusty Plasma Cutter!.


// Background

Isaac Clarke is a brilliant Ships System Engineer of the CEC. He was tasked with a repair mission in the planet-cracker class ship known as the USG Ishimura. Upon boarding the vessel, Isaac would discover the ship was overrun with an undead biological terror known as Necromorphs. As the sole survivor of the incident, Isaac is haunted by the memories of his dead lover, Nicole, who was stationed on the Ishimura before the outbreak.

Isaac lacks proper combat training, where he lacks in techinique, he makes up with putting all of his strength into every desperate punch to survive.

// Playstyle

Isaac is a zoner with strong projectiles but can also hold his own up close. His Ripper Blade and Detonator Mine allow him to take control of the stage and his Plasma Cutter can force his opponents on the defensive.

// Special Moves

Plasma Cutter (NSpecial) –
Isaac's trusty weaponized Plasma Cutter is his main zoning tool. It is best used for disruption and extending your assault when your opponent gets out of striking distance.

Gimmick: The Plasma Cutter will fire 6 rounds before Isaac is forced to reload his weapon, leaving him in a vulnerable position. The ammo is automatically replenished upon landing a Stomp (Dtilt / Dair).

Ripper Blade (FSpecial) –
Ripper Blade is a slow-travelling projectile that can hit an opponent multiple times as it flies through. It is useful for area denial and edge guarding, as well as being able to break through projectiles. Only one Ripper Blade can be active at a time and can be fire again as soon as the previous one despawns.

Detonator Mine (DSpecial) –
Detonator Mine is a placed explosive that becomes active as soon as it activates its laser sensors. Isaac will fire them at an arch and can manually detonate it by attacking or shooting it. The mine will not explode if it is destroyed by an opponent's hitbox or projectile. Setting another Detonator Mine will delete the previous one.

Zero-G Thruster (USpecial) -
Isaac will activate the thruster jets built into his suit. He will quickly ascend until he goes into a Pratfall state.

// Notable Moves

Stomp (Dtilt / Dair) –
Isaac's signature move, he brutally stomps the ground with his metal boot with great force. It deals large percent damage and spiking downwards knockback. Upon landing a Stomp, Isaac's ammo for his Plasma Cutter will automatically refill. A reference to how Isaac collects items by stomping bodies in Dead Space 2.

Baby Kick (Ftilt) –
In Dead Space, Isaac is attacked by a baby Necromorph known as a Lurker. In retaliation, he punts it across the room.

Pulse Rifle (Utilt/ Uair) –
Isaac incorporates the Pulse Rifle into several parts of his moveset.

For his Utilt, Isaac will butt his rifle upwards.

For his Uair, Isaac will fire 4 shots into the air. The last, 4th projectile is a finisher that deals more knockback than the previous ones. It is great for keeping the opponent at the top of the screen from a safe distance. The move will still continue if Isaac lands on the ground.

Grenade Launcher (UStrong) –

For his UStrong, Isaac will use the Pulse Rifle's alternate fire from Dead Space 2. The Grenade Launcher will shoot an arching grenade that explodes with great knockback. It can be used as an early kill move if the opponent is in the right position to be hit by the grenade. The grenade launcher has to be reloaded immediately after the move, which leaves Isaac in an extremely vulnerable position. The grenade will bounce on the floor and walls if they are present on the stage.

Hand Cannon (Taunt) –

"Real space. Real terror. Real foam."
Isaac will fire an invisible projectile that puts opponents in extended hitstun, hitting an opponent offstage is a guaranteed kill.

// Known Issues
- Detonator Mine will get stuck in a loop if it lands on a corner.
- Detonator Mine's sprite will stop working if it is parried.
- Isaac's sprite will have graphical distortions if he Utilts with the Advanced Suit Alt.

This is an awesome mod but does anyone know where I can get the leona heidern mod used in the trailer? I can't find it in the workshop.

This is the worst designed character i've ever seen. Uncounterable in every way, not even fun to play or play against. I'm sorry, but PLEASE nerf

I like him but I wish there was a way to turn off the voice lines. It's really jarring.

awesome character, but hope he gets a handful of buffs to better match him w basecast or other workshop chars. from a viability standpoint hes rather underwhelming imo
