The Cargo Management Unit was a workpod style utility craft that entered service in 2268 and was used throughout the Federation.

These utility craft can be found on almost all Starfleet Starships and Starbases throughout and outside of Federation space, they were important in maintenance and repair whilst in and out of drydock.
