Thank you! I didn’t expect this to be liked this much. Gaia is the name of a Greek deity that’s attributed to being more or less “Mother Nature.” This is my original art, based on my actual art style (painterly but anime, like Arcane!).

I did this by creating a pallet of colors (soil and forest combined with each biome type including snow, acid, and water levels). From there it’s much like a real drawing with a mouse. Start with a blank area, freeze all the time/biomes/growth, and build up a layer at a time. I realized *after* filling in the eye whites with acid rain that the finger tool can drag. Besides that it was mostly the scatter-type brushes and some of the tinier pixel ones. It’s a lot of trial and error, and I have no idea how it plays as an actual map lol.

I’m trying to get my drawing tablet to work with it for my next attempt, a dragon :)

Apparently eyes are copyrighted to a singular artist (sarcasm). Sorry to cause stress to that particular commenter, but eyes are very common art, and green/blue color schemes are not exactly rare. I understand your friend may have created something similar, but given I have never seen their artwork nor know who you are talking about, it's very rude to scream "art theft" in other people's comments. I will delete your comments because I don't want to deal with them. Thanks.
