For over a decade Killing Floor 1 players have constantly complained about how the mouse sensitivity settings would not save and keeps defaulting back to the default settings.

I am not sure if there is already a written solution to this problem available for players to see, but this guide provides the simplest solution that has always worked for me and has worked for other players that has asked me for help.

1: FRESHLY Launch Killing Floor 1

2: Navigate to Input Mouse Settings

3: Change Mouse Settings to what you desire

4: Save Settings

5: Close out of Killing Floor 1

6: ReOpen Killing Floor 1

7: Your Mouse Settings should now be saved to what you had changed it to and the settings will remain saved throughout your entire gaming session

Note: if you need to make any adjustments to your settings that you would like to resave, you will need to repeat this process
