Deadly Premonition 2, as you know, is an average port (though it runs better than the original Switch version: no slowdowns, faster loading times, etc.). However, when you move the camera around, Francis York Morgan usually moves quite slowly. To fix this, I’ll show you how to solve the problem and also how to install Sui's Hack, step by step!

To fix this annoying problem, we just need to go to NVIDIA'S CONTROL PANEL and do the following steps:

• Go to Manage 3D Settings, and then go to the Program Settings tab, and then add a new application (in this case, select Deadly Premonition 2).
  
  
• After that, go to MAX FRAME RATE and set it up to 120 FPS. With that, you will achieve that the camera will work at 60 FPS instead of 50.

And that's it! You will fix the frame rate issues with the camera!

Another way to improve the game is by using Sui's Hack[github.com], which lets you enhance the game's choppy graphics a bit and apply a few quality-of-life improvements—like changing button prompts, improving LOD, increasing resolution, and much more!

The most exciting part is that you can play the game on your SteamDeck!

*You can install the hack on your SteamDeck by following the steps on the Sui's Hack website[github.com]

First, go to Sui’s GitHub page Sui's Github Page[github.com] and download the latest release of the hack, which you’ll find on the right side of the page (red arrow).



After that download the file release_2_0_1.7z



UPDATE: We don't need MelonLoader anymore. It's easier for us now, and even faster to set everything up with the latest version of this awesome hack.

Once you downloaded all the files, you need to go to your Steam game library, right click to Deadly Premonition 2 and then go to Manage and later to Browse local files.



After that, you will be inside Deadly Premonition 2 folder:



Let's continue installing Sui's Hack. To do that, open the previously downloaded file release_2_0_1.7z and select all the files inside the 7z.



Drag all the files and place them inside the game's folder.



Now open Deadly Premonition 2. Press F11 to open the configuration GUI, or close the game and edit SuisHack.cfg inside the BepInEx/config game folder.

And that's it! Config and tweak every parameter you want and enjoy Deadly Premonition 2 with a tons of improvements and fixes!
