Knock out the unfortunate test subject hungry bandit, they dont give a debuff to thievery gain (youre not using him as a punching bag anyway)

Step 2

You need to keep knocking him out (Note: you can try training assassination this way) and make sure theyre combat tagged (they keep playing dead if so), try to find a sweet spot so they dont wake up instantly the moment you fail thievery check. Once you find it and they dont wake up, DONT UNPAUSE THE GAME, IT WILL WAKE THEM UP AND YOULL HAVE TO KEEP KNOCKING EM OUT AGAIN.

there is no step 3, only free ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ of thievery xp and no bottlenecking
keep on dabbing their clothes and putting their clothes back on in case you actually take it from them

Congratulations, now you have obtained 100 thievery without the need to pick up soap bars you purposefully dropped in jail and now only have to knock out one guy to become the badass thief you wanted to be.
NOW YOU CAN MAKE THE BUG GATEKEEPERS MALD WITH THIS METHOD! CONGRATS!!!!!
(not that you can just get 20 thievery and sell off blades early game from cities near the hub and get free cash without needing to level it up to 80)
