Introduction
There are a total of 61 Achievements in Hi-Fi RUSH, with some more difficult than others.

This guide contains spoilers so i highly recommend doing a normal playthrough before going through this guide, both to experience the game and because level select makes achievement hunting MUCH easier. For now play the game and come back once you are finished with the main game.

Happy achievement hunting and remember to have fun, take a break every once in a while, and drink water.

These Achievements are story related or are received during a tutorial, and are unmissable with the exception of the SPECTRA door achievements.

Problem Solved... Wait, What?
Discover the deeper mystery behind the SPECTRA doors on campus.
While this isn't unmissable it is a story achievement which is why it is in this section. Each door requires you to do a certain challenge so upgrade your gear and go into them prepared. I have a guide on where to find the SPECTRA doors and what each challenge is after you beat the game which you can find right here.
https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2925678516

I Can't See This Ever Being A Problem Again
Solve the problem once and for all in an epic battle.
After beating all 8 of the SPECTRA door challenges you can talk to Peppermint to go to the SPECTRA Room. This room gives you access to more SPECTRA challenges, which are just the first eight but harder. After completing these eight "new" challenges you can finally shut down SPECTRA for good and get this achievement.

Easy Listening
Finish the game by completing every level on the Easy difficulty.
See Didn’t Skip A Beat for more information.

Well That Was A Rush
Finish the game and complete every level on the Normal difficulty.
See Didn’t Skip A Beat for more information.

I Think I Deserve Some Praise, Here!
Finish the game and complete every level on the Hard difficulty.
See Didn’t Skip A Beat for more information.

And The Crowd Goes Wild!
Finish the game and complete every level on the Very Hard difficulty.
See Didn’t Skip A Beat for more information.

Didn't Skip A Beat
Finish the game and complete every level on the Rhythm Master difficulty.
The difficulty achievements are separate from each other, which means you'll have to do complete a full play through of EACH difficulty for a total of FIVE PLAY THROUGHS. Luckily this can be done with Level Select after finishing the main campaign. This game is easy to learn but hard to master so it is recommended that you do Rhythm Master last to get used to parries, combos, and when to use your allies. On Rhythm Master difficulty if your Rhythm Meter drops below a D Rank its an immediate defeat. It is not an easy task by any means.
Upgrade Achievements
These Achievements are earned by upgrading your gear and will either require you to spend lots of gears and/or find upgrades throughout levels.

Chip-Tuned
Increase your chip slots to the maximum capacity.
To get this achievement you will need to upgrade your Chip Capacity from Macaron. These upgrades will cost a lot of Gears so be sure to run through the Rhythm Tower a couple of times to get some.

I Play My Own Way
Purchase and equip your first special attack.
Just as the achievement says, buy a special attack and equip it. Once you leave the menu you will get the achievement.

Whoa! There's ANOTHER Health Bar!?
Increase your health to where you unlock a second tier.
See I Think That's Enough Health For Now for more info

I Think That's Enough Health For Now
Fully upgrade your health bar by collecting all Life Gauges.
You can increase your health both by upgrading it in the shop for Gears as well as finding Life Gauge pieces throughout the different Tracks. Chip Sense as well as your own intuition can help you find these as while they are sometimes out of the way they are also not too difficult to find. I am working on a guide for all of their locations and it will be out and linked in this guide after this guide is posted.

Fully Powered Up!
Fully upgrade your Reverb Gauge to the maximum.
You can increase your Reverb Gauge both by upgrading it in the shop for Gears as well as finding Reverb Core pieces throughout the different Tracks. The "Chip Sense" Chip as well as your own intuition can help you find these as while they are sometimes out of the way they are also not too difficult to find. I am working on a guide for all of their locations and it will be out and linked in this guide soon after this guide is posted.

Check Out My Moves
Purchase every combo and partner attack.
Similar to Chip-Tuned this will cost a lot of Gears so be sure to run through the Rhythm Tower to earn as many as you can as well as completing Mural Challenges.
Partner and Combat Achievements
These achievements are related to partner skills and combat overall. Peppermint's Training Room WILL NOT progress these achievements so if you want to farm I'd recommend going through the Rhythm Tower or attempting each one individually while getting the difficulty related achievements.

Uh, They Were Broken When I Got Here
Destroy 200 Vandelay security robots.
See OK, Well THEY Came After ME! for more info.

That's A Lot Of Junk Metal
Destroy 500 Vandelay security robots.
See OK, Well THEY Came After ME! for more info.

OK, Well THEY Came After ME!
Destroy 1000 Vandelay security robots.
You will get this achievement naturally if you're going for the other achievements.

You Got This, Peppermint?
Destroy 10 barriers by calling in Peppermint.
See You Must Like Calling Me In, Chai for more info

You Must Like Calling Me In, Chai
Destroy 50 barriers by calling in Peppermint.
As you are constantly using Peppermint to break shields you should unlock this achievement naturally. You unlock the ability to shatter blue barriers in Track 2.

Z-Shielding's Got Nothing On Us!
Destroy 10 enemy shields by calling in Macaron
See I Think I Found Your Calling, Macaron for more info

I Think I Found Your Calling, Macaron
Destroy 50 enemy shields by calling in Macaron
This achievement is fairly straight forward and as long as you are using Macaron to break enemy shields you should unlock this achievement naturally. You unlock the ability to shatter Red Z-Shielding with in Track 4.

Out In A Puff Of Smoke
Put out 10 fires in battle with Korsica.
See This Is A Breeze for more info

This Is A Breeze
Put out 50 fires in battle with Korsica.
There aren't many enemies that deal out fire damage until later in the game so this achievement will be earned later, but you will be able to unlock this achievement naturally. The best place to farm for this achievement is in Track 8 when fire enemies are first introduced, which is where you unlock the ability to put out fires.

Feeling The Beat!
Land 20 beat-hit attacks on enemies.
See Beat-Hit Mania for more info.

Beat-Hit Mania
Land 500 beat-hit attacks on enemies.
This achievement is exactly what it sounds like. The only difficulty comes form the amount of time it takes.

Perfect Parry
Successfully parry with perfect timing 15 times.
See Perfecter Parry-er! for more info

Perfecter Parry-er!
Successfully parry with perfect timing 200 times.
This achievement is exactly what it says. I recommend doing this achievement in Track 3 in Test Room 3 against the ES-101 as their attacks are very easy to counter and he recovers quickly from being parried.

Kissing The Sky!
Perform 50 Ariel Raves.
Ariel Raves are done by doing attacks in the air, this includes just jumping once and doing a light attack. If there aren't any flying enemies I recommend using Korsica's High Alert to launch ground enemies in the air.

We're Jammin'
Successfully pulled off 20 Jam Combos.
A Jam Combo is pulled off by summoning a partner on a beat hit. You can only do this if you have the skills Master Blaster, High Strung, or Tornado Lift unlocked.

I'm Not Done With You Just Yet
Overkill 20 enemies.
An Overkill is performed when you finish off an enemy with a Beat Hit Attack. For this achievement use a Jam Combo as they do more damage.

First We Parry, Then We Counter
Perform 20 parry counters using any partner.
See Now This Is How You Fight Like A Team! for more info.

Now This Is How You Fight Like A Team!
Perform 100 parry counters using any partner.
To perform a Parry Counter you have to summon a partner one beat after a parry. While this may take a while it is an easy achievement.

I Saw All Those Hits Coming A Measure Away!
Perfectly parry every non-boss enemy's Rhythm Parry attack.
This will take a few attempts but you can always return to menu if you mess it up to restart the fight. The robots you have to parry can all be found on Track 10 and are as follows:
BRUT-1L: Spinning Sawblade Bot
VU-T0R1: Yellow Bird Bot
VU-REV: Flaming Bird Bot
WA-ES-2: Samurai Bot
BL-1Z5: Fire Boxing Bot
KEM-0N0: Red Wolf Bot
ARM-D11: Green Armadillo Bot

OK, I THINK I Know What I'm Doing Now
Successfully pull off every combo and attack in the Training Room.
Go to the Training Room and pull up the menu and select Combo List. Select a combo and then Begin Training. Do this for all combos and the achievement will be rewarded.

I Hit Things With A Guitar Really Well
Finish a stage with an S rank for every Chorus.
This getting an S rating on every Chorus isn't as easy as it sounds. If you get anything lower than S just quickly go to menu and then continue the Track to restart the fight. For this one I would recommend Track 1 as it is much easier to get an S on every fight due to the casual nature of the first Track

I'm Untouchable!
Finish a stage without taking any damage. (Any Difficulty.)
I recommend attempting this achievement on Track 9 as there's one fight and it is easy once you learn Mimosa's movements. If you take a hit you can return to the Hideout then go back to the Track and it wont count the hit and return you to the stage of the fight. I recommend using the "High Risk, High Return" chip as the extra damage taken doesn't matter

My Ultimate Setlist
Complete all the floors in the Rhythm Tower.
Take your time and be patient. I can't recommend any chip combos as people will play this game differently, but for people who are less experienced at the game i'd recommend Health Kick as well as Parry Health to keep yourself alive.

Hideout and Mission Specific Achievements
These achievements are ones that you can only get in specific Tracks or in the Hideout.

Does That Say Weakpoint?
Destroy QA-MIL's face, revealing it's shame.
In Track 1 when you fight QA-1MIL he will eventually start doing a certain punch attack where he will slam one hand down on the platform and his hand will stay on the platform after he performs the attack. If you can do enough damage to his hand it will open up which will leave him open for a short quick time event which will end in him punching himself. Do this twice on both sides of his face and you will get the achievement after some dialogue about how it does literally say "WEAKPOINT" on his forehead.

You Can Pet The Cat!
Play with 808 in the hideout.
When you sit down on the couch in the Hideout you'll be given the option to "Play With 808". Select this option and the achievement will be unlocked.

I Told You I'd Be Fine, Peppermint
Complete the ride through production on the transit rail without taking damage.
In Track 2 you there is a section where you need to dodge shipping containers while on a zip-line. To get this achievement don't take any damage during this segment.

You Ever Parry A Volcano
Successfully parry a volcanic rock outside of research and development.
In Tracks 3 and 4 there will be sections where volcanic rocks are falling from the sky and you will have to avoid them to progress. Stand in their area of effect and parry on of them to get the achievement. I recommend doing this in Track 4 as there is a mural challenge to do it then.

With Our Powers Combined... And To The Rythm...
Perfectly time the takedown of your largest for yet in a musical finale.
In Stage 11 you will help CNMN control the robot arm to take down Kale's big bad bot. To get this achievement don't miss any of the beat hits in the quick time event. The "Single Key Rhythm Game" setting in the Accessibility tab under Options will make this much easier.

Wanna Hear My Playlist?
Change the background music in the hideout.
After beating the game a jukebox will become available in the Hideout. Interact with it and play a song to unlock the achievement.

I Look Cool. But I Can Look COOLER.
Equip any costume.
After beating the game talk to CNMN. He will tell you that the clothing store is now open for business. Buy any clothing item and equip it. After leaving the shop menu the achievement should be unlocked.

HR Investigator Locations

To do so you will need to have Peppermint shoot the three groups of pigeons nearby. The first group is on top of a white and yellow crate next to the robot. The second is on top of the green pipe behind SCR-UB. The third is to SCR-UB's right on an overhanging yellow beam.

Track 5
After talking to TEC-78 after the cutscene to progress the Track talk to him again and he will ask you to find 10 schematics. To find these schematics you need to find and destroy ten drones. After destroying all of the drones to get the schematics you NEED to talk to TEC-78 again or the side quest will not be finished.
  1. The first schematic is behind the shop station next to where you received the quest. From there ride the moving platforms until you make it to the first clear tube then jump onto it. go behind it from there and you will find the drone.

  6. The sixth drone is also in Node 1. After Chorus 6 go straight from where you entered the fight and break the wall with Macaron. From there enter the room and look up and to your right where you will find your next drone.
{*} The seventh drone is in Node 1. After going up the jump pad from the sixth drone instead of breaking the wall with Macaron take the alternate path and enter the room. Walk around the corner and you will see the drone next to the generator.
  7. The eighth drone is found in the side-scrolling section as you leave Node 1. After making your way past the first set of lasers before dropping down make your way through the hole in the wall. You will find the drone there along with SEB.
  8. The ninth drone is in Node 3. Look behind the main node before activating it and you will see the drone. (The Drone is missing in the picture because I destroyed it before taking the picture, just trust me when I say its there.)
  9. The tenth drone is found right before taking the elevator back down from completing Node 3. Ride the floating moving platform to the left of where you entered the fight after the grapple section. Ride the platform over and you will see the drone

Track 8
At the very beginning of the mission speak to SCR-UB, who is near the second garden right before you use Korsica to get past the fire blocking the door. He will ask you to find a Golden Can in one of the three trash bins nearby. To search the trash bins hit them with your guitar.
  1. The first bin is located right next to SCR-UB.
  2. The second bin is in between a sign of Mimosa and a Vandelay tent near one of the two paths that lead to where you received the quest.
  3. The third bin is on the same path as the robot pretending to be old and you will find it next to some balloons.
  4. The fourth bin is right where you started the level in front of the globe.
I do not know if the cans location is random but it has always been in the fourth bin for me. After finding the Golden Can SCR-UB will thank you and give you your reward.
Announcement Drone Locations
Track 1
Drone #1 is found next to the Smidge right before the cutscene where Chai meets 808. When you get to the catwalk below the cutscene trigger a Rekka voiceline will trigger and an Announcement Drone will pass by. Shoot it quickly because after it passes it doesn't come back. If you missed it reload the Track.

Drone #2 is found on the other side of the Hammer-On activated bridge before the platforming section.

Track 3
Drone #7 is found early in the Track to the left hidden near a lava geyser.

Drone #15 can be found after going through one of the office sections.
Golden Kale Statue Locations
For the achievement you only need one but there are multiple scattered around multiple stages and you need to break a certain amount for a mural challenge anyways. The way to break them is obviously to hit them but doing combos does significantly more damage.

This is not every single Kale statue as you don't need to break all of them, only that are most accessible. Eventually I will list every statue but as of now it is not needed as you can break the same statue over and over to get the mural challenge.

Track 2
As you progress through the Track you will have to pass through a vent to progress. Right next to the vent is a Kale statue.

Track 3
Before entering the R&D Department while Roquefort and Zanzo argue go to the right of the door and past the caution barriers to find a golden Kale statue.

Track 4
After the second AR VARRT continue until you reach the lava geyser that takes you up to the catwalk. Turn around and you will see the Kale statue next to a lava waterfall.

Track 5
In track 5 there are 3 statues, one in each Node:
  1. The statue in Node 2 is found immediatley after going down the elevator. Enter the first room from the elevator and jump up to the floor above and unlock the door. Walk to the end of the room and you will find a statue there.
  2. The statue in Node 1 Is found after activating the retractable ramp after breaking the wall with Macaron. After going up them turn around and grapple onto the ledge. Jump over the small gap and you will find the statue.
  3. The statue in Node 3 can be found just before taking the elevator back down to leave. Go to the left and you will see floating moving platforms. Jump onto one of them and wait for them to take you to the statue.

Track 7
After a short grappling section you will enter a room with 3 large green tubes and a staircase on the left. Go inside the tube on the right to find a Kale statue in the ground level.
What A Journey It Was... Overview
This achievement requires you to complete all of the challenges related to the mural to complete the achievement. This is the hardest achievement to earn because of the amount of time and effort it requires.

The challenges have been sorted the same way they are in game in the same order so they are easier to find, and if there are multiple levels of the same challenge i just bunched them up into one challenge on the list for the sake of organization.
What A Journey It Was... Battle Challenges
These challenges are all combat based. For the ones regarding combo moves I typed out what you need to do to to the best of my ability, but the combo is also shown in the mural challenges menu in the hideout. I highly recommend progressing these challenges by either playing through the Rhythm Tower or when going back and going for the difficulty based achievements as the Training Room does not progress any challenges or achievements.

Creacher 25 Mar, 2023 @ 10:10am
For some reason I haven't unlocked the Specialist challenge despite having purchased all the special attacks, am I missing some secret special attack or am I screwed?
Speed demon 16 Mar, 2023 @ 6:56am
Where are all the item upgrade locations? I'm missing a few and I'm not sure where to look.
Avy 14 Mar, 2023 @ 7:33am
Ok so if anyone is wondering, yes you do have to start a new game to get the ''I Saw All Those Hits Coming A Measure Away!" achievement. At least it worked for me.
Avy 25 Feb, 2023 @ 8:11am
So if the achievement is bugged do i have to start a new game or what?
