I hope fast travel becomes a thing pretty soon too because each quest objective is farther and farther away and is becoming really annoying.
There are now different towns and each town can be leveled up giving access to a new merchant or two each town. I don't know about coin limits but they seem rather high, especially at level 3 town.
While it's not stated in the guide, a good thing to note as well is that the Backpack upgrades are now made from the workbench as opposed to being purchased from the guy on the first island.
(Release 0.9.041 ea)
I'll be looking at updating it some time after The Cursed Underworld Update comes out on September 10th. There looks to be a decent and noteworthy amount of changes coming, so a fresh save and a new start would probably be recommended.
