Jewish Kings & Jewish Immersion- CleanSlate

Açıklama
A compilation of Jewish Kings (originally made by ✡ Gefilte Fish ✡) & Jewish Immersion (originally made by SourMouthwash) updated for CleanSlate, with additional content from Christian immersion mod (originally made by Lucasia).

Changes from original Jewish Kings & Jewish Immersion mods:
  • Khazar conversion event chain rebuilt from the ground up; instead of it just happening at some point in the 800s, the Eastern Roman Emperor & the Caliph have decisions available to send dignitaries with gifts to demand the conversion of the Khazars, with the other party having the chance to send dignitaries of their own in response. The Khan can then either convert to the Roman religion, the Caliph’s religion, Judaism, or neither.
  • Jewish events available to more characters
  • The Hebrew Melting Pot can occur under non-Jewish lords, but only if the top liege has invited the Jews back to Jerusalem
  • Invited Jews may rarely be of an Israelite culture present in your realm but not associated with your Capital (ex., you might get some Ashkenazi courtiers if you have land in Germany, even if your capital is in Arabia

Fully compatible with Ancient Religions Reborn for CleanSlate, Seduction & Romance Revamped for CleanSlate, Chinese Caliphates for CleanSlate, Cybrixkhan's Immersion Packs for CleanSlate, Culture, Building, & Retinue Tweaks for CleanSlate, Cities of Wonders for CleanSlate, Warrior Societies for CleanSlate, & and with any other CleanSlate mods I put out in the future.

I've noticed that for some reason when I run this mod and cleanslate it makes it so the temple image is that of the European church. Any clue why? I've tested it only running this and cleanslate and then when I disable this mod it goes back to default temple image for the region so it's something with this mod as far as I can tell.

If you're not using CleanSlate, then pick one or another of the original mods & use them; if you are using CleanSlate, use this mod & not the originals

Probably, but I don’t want to, and seeing as the original mods changed the 00_scripted_triggers, 00_scripted_effects, 00_religions, 00_cultures, & other files, that combo would also not work with Christian Immersion, Terminus of the Silk Road, and many other mods.

Yes; like I said, CleanSlate changes almost all vanilla files in the game. Running CleanSlate with mods that weren’t designed to work with it will probably break something.

Update: So apparently, the no_religion issue was being caused by CleanSlate not being turned on. Subsequently, I discovered that turning on CleanSlate *ucks with other things altered by other mods, such as the Silk Road through 'Terminus of the Silk Road (Updated)'.

That mod is supposed to make all Western endpoints of the Silk Road converge in Constantinople, the object title of the mod. With CleanSlate on, the Silk Road ends up scribbled ALL OVER the map, with trade nodes in random places and preexisting trade nodes completely missing.

If you were using this with Christian Immersion, that would be the issue; not because there’s anything wrong with that mod’s coding, but because this mod isn’t just a combination of Jewish Kings & Jewish Immersion, it is specifically a combination of those mods *meant to work with CleanSlate;* CleanSlate changes pretty much every vanilla file in the game, so any mod that changes vanilla files will almost certainly break something if used alongside CleanSlate. As far as I know, there is no currently released version of Christian Immersion compatible with CleanSlate.

Strange, enabling this version, I'm not seeing that issue in test games either, now. Perhaps it was a oneoff. Though with this combined version, I am seeing Mizrachi Characters again instead of 'no_culture' Characters, which I was seeing with just Jewish Kings.

I grew suspicious that Christian Immersion might have been causing the no_religion alongside another issue I saw someone report on the Jewish Kings page that using those two mods alongside each other was making the Jewish Heresy Leaders fire off Great Holy Wars shortly after beginning a game.

I have not seen that issue in my test games at all; are you using any other mods?

If not, I’ll put out the current version as an update later today; hopefully something I’ve changed in the development version has fixed it.
