How to prevent EOS from Installing on launch
By DA
Easiest method

Right click on Returnal – Go to properties and then local files

Click on browse – Returnal/Returnal/Binaries/Win64

Just rename “EpicOnlineServicesInstaller.exe” to “EpicOnlineServicesInstaller.ex”

Alternatively you can edit file 'Launcer.ini' in the same folder and change NoOperation=0 to 1

and now it should not break the game and force the install of this bloatware

Man Epic Games used to be cool when they made Unreal Tournament 99 and 2004, now they're a bunch of boomer suits milking Fortnite kids and injecting shitty products into people's DNA.

@thejameskiller: you can uninstall the EOS app (from Settings -> Apps) and then use this method. Worked for me!

that depends if it still forces the install each time upon launch. But this method works regardless if you already launched the geim

Hi, is it useful if I've already launched the game once?
