@Ectono Sorry for the late answer, but I've been busy recently creating a mod for terraria, the texture pack is outdated and I don't know when I'll get around to it yet, but I can promise one thing, the update will be soon during the holidays.

Oh shoot i didnt realize this already existed ive been working on a playable slime pack for like an entire month with reworking every hat to fit.
luckily mines a town slime so theres gonna be a difference in terms of faces

If I could edit my previous comment, I would. But here are some suggestions for things you could add with the hair method:
Simple: Various sizes (ex: Pinky, Mother), Town Slime (ect.).
Spiked Slimes: Default, Ice, Jungle.
Biome slimes: Corrupt, Crimson, Desert, Ice.
Holiday: Present Slimes, Bunny Slime, Hoppin' Jack
You could also maybe add the toxic sludge.

The normal slime size would be able to wear vanity, which would open the door for more things, such as vanity instead of actual bows in the hair, and dyeable holiday bows and masks, but it would cause larger slimes to have difficulty using vanity, and cause all slime accesories to not move like it should.

I hope you can maybe do something with all of these ideas.

I think it would be more convenient if it used your hair to determine the slime's looks (color, animations, type, ect).
Maybe hiding ALL armor would make my idea work.
Who knows, maybe that could be a seperate pack! :greenslime:
