Report a translation problem
* when flying over to the cube put your portal at the wall a bit to the right. This way when coming back you are able to directly land on the airplate
* when breaking the laser put the cube as near to the wall as possible, so You can place the laser cube left of it. If done right You can later a) align the laser beam more easily and b) fetch the other cube without disturbing the laser beam
* You have thre possible times to place the portal which redirects the laser: a) when putting the breaker cube into place b) when flying to the button c) after hitting the button. B is my favorite. Has a bit of a Max Payne Feeling: kill Your enemies while flying throught the air :). c is possibly the less dificult: after You put the button, You have more than enought time to place _both_ portals before the laser cube arrives.
