You may have seen with animated profile pictures, animated mini profile backgrounds, cool backgrounds or just generally cool stuff. How did they get that stuff, you might ask yourself. Answer is simple: Steam points.

There are some ways to get them easily

For each US dollar/Euro spent on purchasing games on Steam (that means no product codes), you get 100 Steam Points. For example, purchasing the VIP edition of Hatsune Miku Project DIVA Mega Mix+ while it's not on sale will get you around 6000 Steam Points (as it's price is $60). Purchasing Garry's Mod gives you 1000 Steam Points, etc.

Some games might restrict their own items behind a purchase of the game itself (unlike hentai games...), so buying those games will get you a bonus to get the game's items.

This is the scummiest way to get Steam Points.
Grab a square image of Gigachad, write a title like "How to *simple game mechanic*", add 1 section, then write a sentence that will only apply to the default key bindings.
I am very flabbergasted that this has worked for many people.

As long as you type anything that does not make you look down bad, people will find the review somewhat funny (as long as you do not have more than 1 hour of playtime)
But to be able to review hentai games in the first place, you need to download them!

One easy solution to that is copying the executable of a generic program (like Command Prompt on Windows) to the folder of the hentai game, where you will delete (or rename) the original game executable.
You will then proceed to change the name of the generic executable to the name of the hentai game's executable.

Open the executable, then do anything else.

Now when the prompt to review the game shows up, review it in any way you want. The contents of the review are important! Usually it's best to include the following:

Not home-alone enough to review a hentai game? Then change to any other genre of games, and make sure the game is free or very popular.

Get enough playtime in the game to review it, then your review should contain one of the following:

• Copypasta about how you are a 48-year old father and played that game to play it with your child (MAKE SURE YOU ARE VAC-BANNED IN CSGO WITH AS LITTLE STUFF ON YOUR PROFILE AS POSSIBLE AND COMMENTS REGARDING HVH)

• (If the game is bad) Talk about the game being bad

This step requires you to have a (decently) funny (or not) idea or a decently useful idea that would not require much work.

Get that idea, upload it, then check the workshop in a few days.
