The Beginning
Hello and welcome to my guide about Enhanced Armaments, an absolutely amazing mod made by someone who is clearly talented but unfortunately suffers from being incapable of hearing constructive criticism and takes its entire userbase "complaints" and completely ignores them.

Quite unfortunate as it's quite the Go To of mods when it comes with Personal Gear, it has one of the highest quality gear and equipment but you may not get to use them very much as the author as previously state, couldn't give a single damn about you, the user... So at any point he may just pull the plug on the stuff you use and you lose so very much.

What is his answer when the community comes to questions and criticize his changes? A large amount of copium and the delete comment button as he is incapable of coping with the fact that his changes are in fact, unwanted by the vast majority of the community... but who cares about the userbase am I right?
The Proper Way
As the mod author is incapable of knowing the difference between complains and critics to his mod to actual drama (Yet he goes drama mode in the Barotrauma Discord) I will use this place that he has absolutely no control over to talk about his poor judgement and dislike for his own userbase.

As I had suggested on my comment that was deleted by the SAF, he could of done something that quite a lot of people really love... Asked his userbase for their opinion on upcoming changes, get his userbase involved with the mod...

Quite a few games have the developers interact and ask for opinions on their games, be it balance wise or else... these tend to have quite a bit of engagement as the developer is able to listen to his community and grow, quite a wonderful thing to see when it happens, everyone wins...

Unfortunately SAF could give like of a crap about his userbase otherwise he could asked his userbase for their opinion on the changes he was planning to bring, so people could give him feedback on their feelings about the changes that were coming and maybe come to a midway point on it even instead of just pushing stuff down our throats... like youtube and google do once in a while.
The Closure
All of that said, I will keep the comments open on this guide so you can give your opinions about (my bad English, punctuation and phrasing) my thoughts and this whole mess if you agree or not with what was said here!

Feel free to comment and talk in here as I'm not like SAF, I won't delete comments I don't like. ;)

(PS. Yes there is discussions for a reason but SAF would likely just delete it)

So from what I have seen the majority of bad feedback has been demanding features or complaining when EZ mode or exploit portions of the code are cleaned up else fixed. I personally got shit on for being the only person to actually provide a list of suggest fixes that closed the majority of 1 for 1 crafting recipes at the time and several people were upset with me for telling him about the baton and harpoon gun that were being used to grind weapon skill.

Also much like this snarky guide you put up a lot of feedback is incredibly rude and demanding, carrying all the grace of a spoiled child demanding to be waited on by their lessers who act surprised when they get a snappy comeback.

So you made a snarky, "guide" calling out the mod author(s) for their lack of interaction and/or your dislike of how they interact with the people who downloaded their mod? If you don't like how they treat you, don't use the mod. It's free content and the mod author has every right to going in whatever direction they so choose to do with their mod just as they have the right to remove their mod from the workshop.

You can always make your own weapons pack, curate your own community, take criticism, delete comments, etc.

I wouldnt say hes insecure, rather he tried covering up a fuckup he made, though I havent been following EHA's development since the great comment purge so I may be wrong :headcrab:

There IS an argument Drunkchey... Evidence is hard to get since it's him deleting everything he doesn't like, no matter how valid something is :p
One of his issues is being incapable of taking criticism, as that likely hurts his fragile feelings and so deletes the comments, assume to make his mod seem perfect. The mod is good, just the creator thinks he is too high and mighty.

Youd be right, except for the fact that the update was reversed not even a day after it was out due to backlash, so he made a poor decision, but he still cares about his community somewhat

yeah im inclined to agree with blah_mah over here this is one of the worst "callout" posts i've seen in my life, there's no argument, there's no evidence. there's just copium.
