HIMS Without Sunset

It is said that Pydrinck's empire is one without sunset, and it frequently falls to ships such as this to maintain it. Built shortly after the Tollkeep-class of torpedo boats, these destroyers represent the forefront of Pydrinckian light warships. With a far greater endurance and still impressive cruising speed, the class can more effectively escort the larger ships of the fleet, and it is to this end that their unusually heavy gun armament was installed. The extensive machinery that allowed their swiftness necessitated the mounting of a pair of wing guns to meet the requirements placed upon it, which combined with its twin torpedo turrets leave little space for comfort. Unpopular with crews but undeniably effective, they are likely to see service for years to come.
