Disclaimer
This guide will hold multiple spoilers to enemies and areas in the game. This guide is only a preparation for playthroughs on the hardest difficulty. If you haven't beaten the game at all yet, then do so before reading this guide, it will also help you know the names of each enemy from the bestiary.

This Guide is not complete, as the game is still in early access.
Enemy Categories
Hrot has many different enemies and minibosses/bosses throughout the game. This section of the guide will explain the different types of enemies and bosses you will encounter in categories.

Basic Enemies
The following enemies are only threatening in numbers or are meant to catch you offguard, usually when fighting other more threatening enemies. They can usually be dispatched quickly and easily with any weapon (with the exception of the Snake), and it's best to use the beginner weapons like the Pistol or Soviet Shotgun against them (and the Submachine Gun if you can spare the ammo).
Smaskou
Pedro
S.U.P.
Turret
Vampire Bat
Konfident
Skapucí
Sewer Rat
Bečva
Skull Spider
Headsman
Headsman with Shotgun
Walking Corpse
Headless Chicken
Snake

Medium Enemies
These enemies take slightly more resources to take down, and can be threatening even in small numbers (especially in smaller areas). It is best to dispatch them with at the very least the Soviet Shotgun, but if you can, use the BRNO Super Shotgun, Submachine Gun, Hussite Crossbow, or the Hussite Handcannon (only when you can spare the ammo).
Kejdovec
Hazmat Suit
Miner
Biker
Pathologist

Strong Enemies
These enemies can take a lot of damage and hit very hard. Use either the BRNO Super Shotgun, Hussite Crossbow, or Hussite Handcannon on them.
Semík the Hors
Helicopter
Loader
Bear
Infested Rider
Gimp

Minibosses
The minibosses usually throw the hardest punches in the game, almost all of them have explosive attacks. You should use whatever the strongest in your arsenal is at the time of fighting them.
Fierce Gorilla
Goat
Overgrown Skull Spider
War Wagon
LT V2. 35
Granny Statue
Hussite King
Electric Rider

Bosses
The strongest bosses are found at the end of each episode.
Gottwald
Gusta
Prioritizing Enemies
It's best to prioritize specific enemy groups (and individual enemies) before going after other ones. Below is chart/list of what to prioritize first. Keep in mind that some enemies from lower categories can still be more dangerous than higher ones depending on the situation.

Note: Higher priority enemies will be at the top of the list, while lower priority enemies will be on the bottom. This is based on any possible situation that can happen in Intruder mode, but still applies otherwise. Enemies that are listed as [Enemy1]/[Enemy2]/[Enemy3] are on the same level of prioritization. If an enemy is listed multiple times, its prioritization varies.

1. Bear/Infested Rider/Pathologist/S.U.P./Miner
2. Bear/Helicopter/Hazmat/Skapucí/Miner
3. Kejdovec/Konfident/Miner/Smaskou
4. Gimp/Semík the Hors/Loader/Biker/Smaskou
5. Smaskou/Skull Spider/Walking Corpse/Headsman with Shotgun/Headsman/Pedro
6. Snake/Headless Chicken/Sewer Rat/Vampire Bat
7. Bečva

Use your own judgement too, as the list won't work all the time, it is only to give you a basic idea of what enemies are more dangerous and should be killed first when possible.
Avoiding Enemy Attacks and Effectively Dispatching Them
This section will go over most of the enemies and tips on how to avoid their attacks, as well as the best way to get rid of them, starting off with enemies that attack from a distance, and then enemies that for the most part attack with melee. Although there are almost no hitscan enemies in the game, some of their attacks are better off avoided by taking cover.

Ranged Enemies
Smaskou
When you can, take cover. In the Very Hard difficulty you'll need to be moving at all times horizontally from their view to not get hit. If you're standing still by the time they attack, you most likely won't have time to react. Use either the Pistol, Soviet Shotgun, or Submachine Gun on them.
Turret
They only appear in rooms that have a ceiling or cover from the sky. Normally you can take cover from them, so it's best to peak from cover and exchange shots. When in a room with multiple enemies, save them for last and try keeping the fight out of their view. They cannot move and don't have a lot of health, so if you can then take them out with the Pistol. Alternatively, if you want more room to fight then you can take them out first with a Soviet Shotgun, Submachine Gun, or Hussite Crossbow.
Konfident
Konfidents appear everywhere throughout the game. They fly, but move slowly. They're also one of the few enemies that can survive in water. Their attacks consist of a few bursts of projectiles that can easily be avoided compared to shotgun carrying enemies, but said projectiles will also mess up your vision for about a second. When possible, take them out from a distance with the Hussite Crossbow, otherwise, use the Soviet Shotgun or BRNO Super Shotgun at a closer range (but be quick).
Skapucí
Skapucí are unique, as they are the only nonboss enemy in the game that can teleport in combat. They also use the Submachine Gun as a weapon, both of these factors making them fairly more competent than the Smaskou. The only real way you can avoid their attacks safely is by killing them, as they can teleport anywhere and are very unpredictable. Use weapons that can instantly kill them (or kill in two hits). The Soviet Shotgun or BRNO Shotgun work well.
Kejdovec
These enemies are fairly common and can be dangerous when underestimated. Their grenade attack is fairly slow and predictable but when ignored you will probably end up getting hit by it anyway. Keep an eye on them until they're dead, and make sure to keep a distance; their melee attacks can deal almost as much damage as their grenades. They are best killed with the Soviet Shotgun, BRNO Super Shotgun, Hussite Crossbow, or Hussite Handcannon.
Hazmat Suit
My personal most hated enemy in the game, Hazmat Suits are fast, common, and fight with shotguns. Use the same strategy as Smaskou; take cover or run in a horizontal line of their view, or they will hit you. If you can't effectively do either, then get ready for a bullet hell. Use the Soviet Shotgun, BRNO Super Shotgun, Hussite Crossbow, or Hussite Handcannon on them.
