Make a copy of this sheet and follow the instructions in it to get started.

On the right is a big list of all the craftable equipment, pulled straight from the game. Check off the equipment you've already crafted in your completion list.

On the left is a list of all of the materials in the game that keeps track of how many you need to craft the rest of the equipment on the list. Fill in how many of each material you have by scrolling through your inventory (you might want to consider putting the game in windowed mode for this). The two darkened items aren't needed for equipment, but are included since it makes inputting the information at little easier. The bold-italic items are easily accessible at the materials vendor and virtue shop.There are alternate sources of some of the other materials, but this guide doesn't cover all of them, since they aren't all objectively better.

Below the big table of materials are two more sections. One suggests the best dungeons for you to farm based on which ones have the most types of materials you need more of. The other one lets you select a material from a drop down list and tells you all of the dungeons it can be found in as well as the best ones for you to be farming for it in. The suggestions are based purely off of the drop lists, so things like the quantity of breakable items or speed of the dungeon aren't considered.
The earlier dungeons have better drop rates, for example, but since they have less useful loot, they aren't usually at the top of the list. If you're having bad luck on one dungeon, try another one!




And don't forget, you should aim to get good drop rate boosting gear as quickly as you can to shorten the grind!

I made this one day to help myself optimize my own farming, and I hope it will help some of you out there as well.

If you're looking to hunt seals, I recommend checking out this other spreadsheet[docs.google.com] I've seen passed around online. I'm not exactly sure who the author of this is at this point, but its a really useful list of every craftable weapon and which seals can show up on it. These are the same seals that can randomly appear on these weapons when you pick them up in dungeons, so if you want to tackle seals on the side while farming materials, this will probably be of use.
