Info
Just like in Trails from Zero, there are a number of quests that are only present on the PS Vita version (Evolution). So I ported 'em over[github.com]. (The number is five here too by the way.)

Installation

Download the latest release[github.com] (can be extracted with for example 7zip) and merge the data/ directory into the game files. The game directory is normally at C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\The Legend of Heroes Trails to Azure, or you can find it by right-clicking the game and choosing Manage » Browse local files.

I do check the comments here occasionally, but for support or questions, it may be faster to send an issue on Github or reach me on Discord (Kyuuhachi#2763).

The quests
I won't give any walkthrough for the quests themselves; find a different guide for that.

Illicit Trade Stakeout: Talk to Grace outside the IBC in chapter 2, day 2.

Introduction to Crossbell: Talk to the guardsman outside the SSS in chapter 2, day 3. NOTE: missable if you visit the graveyard.

Searching the Forest: Talk to Commander Sonya in Bellguard Gate after finishing Runaway Vehicle Pursuit in chapter 3.

Temporary Theme Park Job, part 2: From the computer at the start of chapter 4.

Bringing Home the Bakery: From the computer at the start of chapter 4.

Maybe I'm dumb and missing something? I talked to Grace and got the "Illicit Trade Stakeout" Quest, I get teleported to Neue Blanc, but there is nothing inside, no npc's or anything to interact with.
Do I have to do something special inside?

That worked! FYI: some bins were updated, no clue which ones are important for this to happen. ex: The Legend of Heroes Trails to Azure\data\scena\c1510.bin

@Comic Sans Frontieres My best guess is that the game update a few days ago made Steam overwrite some but not all of the files, leaving the quests in an inconsistent state. Could you try reinstalling the mod? I'll make a new release soon that merges in that update, but in the meantime installing the mod on top should be safe I think.

Having a crazy bug. Trying to complete the "Search in the Forest" on the 3rd day chapter 3 then going to the knox forest warps me to the end game. Next thing I know I'm battling white suited soldiers alone as lloyd.

Yeah, I don't know why they're not in there by default. Could be copyright (but then what about the voices?), could be something else. When I asked Ribose about having them in Geofront, he said that if they did they would have it as an optional addon (guess they want to preserve the original as much as possible?), and that would significantly increase the amount of testing they'd need to do. Could be similar in NISA's case.

Awesome mod, You did a similar one for Zero which was also awesome.

Nisa didn't put these quests in their Steam ports but there is probably copyright on the Evo games? If I recall correctly Falcom doesn't own them.

No, they don't really affect anything outside of the quests themselves. One small exception is Introduction to Crossbell , because there's no need for Klaudia to introduce herself to Tio if they have already met during that quest . And of course the lingering question about Illicit Trade Stakeout ( why were Sigmund and Shirley at the IBC? ), which could be construed as slight foreshadowing. But mostly they're just fun moments.

by the way do these quests have any significance in story? or are they just fun bonuses
